Homemade Cell Phone Signal Booster
Although cell phones can be an incredible convenience, they can also be frustrating especially when you are in the middle of a conversation and it dies out due to lack of reception. But don't despair with some electrical tape, and a few household items you can boost your reception in minutes.
Antenna
Break off the antenna of an old radio that you are no longer using and stick it in some modeling clay so that it is standing straight up.
Copper Wiring
Attach some insulated copper wiring to the base of the antenna with some duct tape.
Tape It
Tape the other end of the copper wiring to the antenna or to the back of the phone near the top.
Test it
Turn your phone on and you should see an increase of two to three bars in reception.
