Glacier Bay Faucet
Finding the illusive Glacier Bay faucet part has become a bit of a challenge for many people. I will try to give you the best procedures I have found so far.
Instructions
1. Find the model number of your Glacier Bay Faucet, this is the most important piece of information that you can have. It will be located on the original merchandise box, instruction sheet, and warranty paper. In rare cases, the model of a Glacier Bay faucet may be localed somewhere on the faucet plate. Hopefully you have saved the original store receipt. This can also be used to identify the faucet. If you do not have the number or receipt don't give up yet. There are still several steps you can take to find the model number and get the parts you need.
2. The store or web site you purchased your faucet from might still carry the same model. If you have access, try checking there first. If they do still carry your Glacier Bay faucet model, ask if they carry the parts for it. If they do, great, you have what you need. If not, lets move on.
3. Glacier Bay faucets do not have an official web site at the time this article was written, and I doubt they ever will. The Glacier Bay faucet line is manufactured by seven different suppliers as of today. These manufacturers are located in many different countries. Home Depot is really the exclusive retailer of Glacier Bay faucets. The only official web site to look at Glacier Bay faucet pictures is going to be homedepot.com.
4. Even with their phone number, it will do you no good to call Glacier Bay without the model number. Here's one of their official solutions that you might use to help find it. Take a clear digital picture (or 2) of your faucet. E-mail the pictures to customercare@homedepot.com and ask them to help you identify the model number. Yes, this is for real. Evidently they are the only people that have a complete Glacier Bay faucet list.If the Glacier Bay product is still manufactured then you will have your model number.
5. Once you have your model number, there are several phone numbers you can call. Some you find will just go to other Home Depot customer care lines, and others go nowhere at all. The official Glacier Bay support phone number is 1-888-328-2383. You may have to wait for a long while, depends on how busy they are. Do not be surprised if they ask you to call another number, the specific manufacturer of that model, to find your part.
Tips Warnings
If you are a good guesser, and want to take a chance, there are several Internet plumbing stores including Amazon, that carry some replacement parts for Glacier Bay faucets.
Always keep your product sales receipts, warranty papers, and at least the UPC and model number from any faucet you ever purchase. No matter what store, or who the manufacture is, always register your faucet purchase buy mail or online, if they give you that option. Most faucets now come with a limited lifetime warranty, why not take full advantage of this service. You may never have to buy a new faucet again.
There is a slim possibility that your faucet and or its parts are longer in production.
