Zeroing in a bow is a simple but necessary procedure.
You will not hit your target accurately or consistently if the sight on your bow is not properly zeroed. On the top and side of the sight are dial-knobs that raise and lower the sight's crosshairs. Adjust the dial-knobs with a small, flathead screwdriver. Zero the sight in your back yard or at a shooting range.
Instructions
1. Place a target 25 yards from your shooting position. Take aim on the center of the target.
2. Release the draw string and allow the arrow to hit the target. Check the target to determine if the arrow is higher or lower than the spot at which you aimed.
3. Turn the dial-knob clockwise to raise the sight. Turn the dial-knob counterclockwise to lower the sight. Adjust the sight accordingly.
4. Take aim on the target and fire an arrow. Check the target to determine if the arrow is to the left or right of the spot at which you aimed.
5. Turn the dial-knob clockwise to move the sight to the right. Turn the dial-knob counterclockwise to move the sight to the left. Adjust the sight accordingly.
