Paint Digital Camo Patterns
Camouflage has evolved over the years. Camouflage previously consisted of tying branches, leaves, reeds and any other naturally occurring plants to your military uniform. Over the years it has evolved into paint schemes and fabric types used in uniform or armor construction. Soft-edged and hard-edged camouflage has been the variety of choice until recently. Digital camouflage patterns have been introduced recently into the American armed forces and in some other countries as well.
Instructions
1. Spray the lightest color of your camouflage pattern onto the material you wish to paint. Keep the spray can 12 inches away from the object as you are spraying.
2. Cut little squares out along the edge of the roll of painter's tape with a hobby knife. Cut out a square in random increments along the length of the tape. Cut out squares within the bounds of the edges of the tape too. Apply the grid-like pieces of painter's tape horizontally along the length of the object you are painting. Apply the tape until it resembles the template found in the Resources section.
3. Spray the object with the second deeper shade of camouflage color. Keep the spray can 12 inches away from the object as you are spraying.
4. Apply more small pieces of the the cut out painter's tape along the length of the object.
5. Spray the object with the third and deepest shade of camouflage color. Keep the spray can 12 inches away from the object as you are spraying.
6. Remove the painter's tape before the paint dries.
