Ausable Chasm Campground affords bikers with 10 miles of bike paths exclusively for campers. In addition, there are three miles of maintained walking paths that wander through the natural beauty of Lake George. Other activities include panning for gem stones, horseback riding and tubing. Choose from traditional campsites or relax in either cabins or a motel (see Resources). Daggett Lake Campsites enforces a strict policy of silence at night. This campsite is perfect for those who are tired of having their vacation marred by loud neighbors. Though silent at night, this campsite has many recreational entertainment options like fishing, biking and water-skiing.
Camping Near Lake George Village
King Phillips Campground provides campers with opportunities to experience the outdoors and take a trip into Lake George Village. As the closest campground to the village, trolley rides pick up campers and drop them off within the social hub of the area. You can participate in shopping, casual or upscale dining, art shows or theatrical productions. On the campground, there is boating, bike trails and fishing.
