Make A Homemade Paintball Silencer

The compressed air that a paintball gun uses to fire a ball at a target is loud enough to betray the presence of the shooter. You can make a silencer that will fit on the end of the barrel of the paintball gun and lessen the noise that the compressed air makes when the trigger is depressed. Your homemade paintball gun silencer will only require a few household items and about 20 minutes of your time. No warranty will be voided by using the paintball gun silencer you will have made.

Instructions

1. Put a sheet of newspaper on a table. Stand the empty 35 mm plastic film case on the newspaper. Put the lid on the empty 35 mm plastic film case.

2. Insert the blade of the utility knife in the center of the lid to make a hole. Twist the blade of the utility knife clockwise to enlarge the hole.

3. Turn the empty 35 mm plastic film case over. Repeat the procedure with the utility knife on the bottom of the empty 35 mm plastic film case. Turn the empty 35 mm plastic film case over.

4. Remove the lid from the empty 35 mm plastic film case.

5. Tear off a 1-foot length of toilet paper from the toilet paper roll. Place the one foot length of toilet paper horizontally on the newspaper.

6. Place the empty 35 mm plastic film case vertically on the toilet paper at the extreme upper left edge.

7. Make a mark at the bottom of the empty 35 mm plastic film case with the pencil. Remove the empty 35 mm plastic film case from the toilet paper.

8. Cut a horizontal strip, starting at the pencil mark, across the length of the toilet paper with the scissors. Discard the rest of the toilet paper.

9. Roll the strip of toilet paper around your index finger to make a tube. Place a piece of cellophane tape on the side of the strip of toilet paper to secure the tube.

10. Remove the lid from the empty 35 mm plastic film case. Insert the toilet paper tube into the empty 35 mm plastic film case. Put the lid back on.

11. Place the lid attached to the empty 35 mm plastic film case onto the front of the barrel of the paintball gun. Your homemade paintball gun silencer will now lessen the sound that the paintball gun makes when it is fired.
