Adjust The Spyder Xtra'S Velocity

The Spyder Xtra is a paintball gun manufactured by Spyder. Like all other paintball guns, it is essential to be able to change the velocity when needed. The velocity of a paintball gun refers to the speed at which the paintball is fired from the gun. A velocity that is too high could break the paintball inside of the gun or cause injuries to other paintball players. Too low of a velocity will reduce the performance of the paintball gun. Adjusting the velocity is simple and will only take a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Locate the velocity adjuster on the back of the Spyder Xtra paintball gun. It is circular in shape and has an indentation for an Allen wrench in the middle.

2. Insert the Allen wrench that was provided by the manufacturer of the paintball gun and twist the wrench clockwise to increase the velocity of the paintball gun. A higher velocity results in a higher feet-per-second speed when the paintball is fired from the gun.

3. Insert the Allen wrench and twist counterclockwise to lower the velocity of the paintball gun. A lower velocity results in a lower feet-per-second speed when the paintball is fired from the gun.
