How Do You Get Your Pin Number On Your Dsi

The Nintendo DSI features a simple set of parental controls that determine which games can be played on the unit and how the webcam and Wi-Fi features of the device may be used. In order to change or disable parental controls, you will first need to enter the four-digit personal identification number you set up when you initially created the controls. Nintendo does not determine this number -- every user sets his own PIN.

Instructions

1. Turn on the Nintendo DSI and touch the wrench icon to open the "Settings" menu.

2. Scroll to the third page of options and hit "Parental Controls."

3. Touch "Yes" to confirm that you would like to change your controls. At this point, you will be prompted for your PIN.

4. Tap "I forgot," and then touch the empty box at the bottom of the screen. The Nintendo DSI will prompt you with your security question.

5. Type the answer to your security question into the box and hit "OK." At this point, you will be able to set a new PIN.
