Pc Gun Requirements

Gun is a historical action-adventure game published by Activision and released for several video gaming consoles, including the PC. Gun is set in the era of the American old west of 1880, where players control skilled marksman Colton in an open-ended frontier filled with villains and bandits. The game was originally released in November 2005, so while Gun needs minimum system requirements to play the PC version, most of its specifications can be met by most modern computers on the market.

Processor

Gun requires at least a Pentium III with 1.8 gigahertz (GHz) processor or better to run the game. Alternatively, it can also use an Athlon XP 1800+ or greater processor for Gun. The processor is also known as the CPU, and is the primary component of a PC that handles information sent between the software and the computer hardware. Having a higher processor will result in the ability to run Gun at higher quality settings without experiencing any game lag.

RAM

The minimum random access memory (RAM) needed to run Gun for the PC is 256 megabytes (MB). The RAM is an essential hardware component for determining how much information can be processed at one time by the CPU. Higher RAM will result in greater amounts of processed game data and ultimately create smoother game play. Today's modern PCs can hold RAM chips that go into the gigabyte range.

Video Card

The video card needed to run Gun for the PC needs to be compatible with DirectX 9.0c as well as be capable of 3-D acceleration. Additionally, your video card's memory should be at least 32 MB and can handle transformation and lighting (T&L) for graphical rendering. Having the latest video card with a higher memory installed on your PC will enable Gun to run smoothly at higher quality visual settings.
