Audi A5 Performance

The Audi A5 is a luxury mid-size sport car that combines impressive power and performance with sleek and aggressive styling. Created by Italian designer Walter de Silva, the A5 won the prestigious 2010 "Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany" and helped lead Audi to record sales in the United States in 2010.


Engine Specifications


The A5 features a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that has been named one of Ward's Autos' "10 Best Engines" for 5 consecutive years. This engine produces 211 horsepower at 4,300 to 6,000 revolutions per minute and 258 foot pounds of torque at 1,500 to 4,200 rpm, with a top speed of 130 miles per hour.


Performance


Equipped with Audi's "quattro" all-wheel drive system, the A5 speeds from zero to 60 miles per hour in 6.4 seconds with a 6-speed manual transmission and 6.7 seconds with Audi's proprietary "Tiptronic" semi-manual transmission. Fuel Economy


Produced with a 17.2 gallon fuel tank, the A5 offers an EPA-estimated 21 miles per gallon in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, a combined average of 25 mpg with a 6-speed manual transmission. This fuel economy provides the A5 with a range of 361.2 miles in the city, 533.2 miles on the highway, combining for an average of 430 miles per tank.
