Make A Paintball Gun Stand

A paintball gun stand is a convenient method of storing and displaying a paintball gun or marker. It is also a means of storage that allows for the air tank to remain attached to the gun. A stand prevents the paintball gun from lying on a surface where there is the possibility of damage. This stand may be assembled with or without pvc cement. The advantage of not using cement is the ability to disassemble and more easily transport the stand from site to site.

Instructions

1. Lay out the pieces and dry fit them together. Dry fitting is the process of connecting pieces to check for fit prior to the final assemble. Begin by forming a U shape with a 1-foot piece of pipe, two elbows and two 2-inch pieces of pipe.

2. Attach a T connector to both of the 2-inch pieces of pipe and insert a 1-foot piece of pipe into the opposite side of the T to the 2-inch piece.

3. Attach another T connector to the 1-foot piece and insert another 1-foot piece on the opposite side.

4. Continue to form the base by attaching an elbow to both of the exposed 1-foot sections. To complete the base, insert a 3-1/2-inch piece of pipe into both elbows and connect the base with a T connector.

5. Angle the four assembled T connectors upward at the midpoint of the stand where the four T connectors are opposite one another, and insert a 5-inch piece of pipe into each T. Attach an elbow onto each 5-inch piece of pipe and then insert a one foot piece of pipe between the elbows on the side. At this point there should be two upright pieces of pipe with an elbow on each side of the stand.

6. Connect the uprights together, on both sides, by inserting a 1-foot section of pipe into the elbows. There should now be two complete upside down U shaped uprights on both sides of the frame. Angle the uprights in toward one another at about 45 degrees. This will be the support for the air tank.

7. Insert a 1-foot piece of pipe into the T connector at the front of the stand base and place another T on top of the extended pipe. Turn the T on top so that it is in alignment toward the back of the stand.

8. Insert the barrel of the gun into the elevated T and allow the air tank to rest on the upright supports.
