Christian Summer Adventure Camps In Texas

Water sports are among the activities at summer adventure camps in Texas.

Christian summer adventure camps offer a biblical education while providing children of all ages the opportunity to play sports, make friends and learn new skills. Many camp programs offer Bible study as part of their curriculum, and others provide specific training programs for teens in ministry and community outreach.

Cho-Yeh

Cho-Yeh Christian Summer Camp is located in Livingston, one hour north of Houston. Children ages 6 to 16 will participate in activities such as archery, paintball, riflery, wakeboarding, water-skiing and horseback riding. According to Cho-Yeh's website, "a week at camp can serve as one of the most powerful and life-changing experiences in a person's life." Cho-Yeh has scholarships for campers who qualify.

Deer Creek

Summer camp at Deer Creek is located near the Medina River and houses its campers, ages 7 to 16, in climate-controlled cabins and boasts modern bathhouses with hot water. Campers choose from football, basketball, photography, drama, dance and outdoor wilderness classes, in addition to Bible studies. According to Deer Creek's website, "Cabins rotate together through a series of high and low ropes, adventure based and teambuilding activities that we feel are age appropriate for campers in that cabin. We teach them realistic goal setting and give them something to look forward to next summer through our program." Deer Creek also has leadership programs for high school students.
