A paintball gun that has a problem needs to be repaired.
Paintball guns are available from many manufacturers, such as Spyder. When your paintball gun begins to have problems, you will need to troubleshoot the gun and make any repairs that are necessary. Problems that you can have with your paintball gun include low air pressure and paintball velocity that is too slow. These types of problems can lead to a decrease in performance of the paintball gun.
Instructions
Low Air Pressure
1. Find the regulator gauge on the gun and locate the adjustment screw. The Adjustment screw is next to the regulator gauge.
2. Insert the Allen wrench into the screw. Turn the screw counterclockwise to raise the regulator pressure.
3. Take a practice shot with the gun to test the adjustment. Repeat step two until you are satisfied with the air pressure.
Slow Paintball Velocity
4. Find the velocity adjustment screw on the paint gun. One location for the screw is near the trigger.
5. Turn the velocity screw clockwise, by hand, to increase the velocity of the paintball.
6. Take a practice shot with the gun to test the adjustment. Repeat step two until you are satisfied with the velocity of the paintball.
7. Insert the Allen wrench into the top of the adjustment screw and turn it clockwise to lock the screw in place.
