Welcome Valley Village is located less than an hour's drive from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and just two miles outside of the Cherokee National Forest near the whitewater outfitters on the Ocoee River. Spend your day on the Ocoee rafting, tubing or fishing, or opt to go horseback or mountain bike riding and hiking in the the National Forest. After an activity-filled day in the clear mountain air, you will enjoy coming "home" to one of Welcome Valley Village's five log cabins. Placed on their 17-acre property to utilize the breathtaking views of river, creek or woods, the cabins feature large porches, fireplaces and whirlpool baths. Firewood is provided in winter months. All the cabins are completely equipped with full kitchens, TVs with DVD players, grills, linens, towels, central heat and air conditioning; guests have to bring only one item: themselves. Cabins can sleep a couple comfortably, or a large family of eight to nine people can stay.

Their larger cabins feature three bedrooms, a bathroom, den, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast room and central heat and air. Everything is supplied: bed and bath linens, cooking utensils, pots and pans, bathroom, den, fully equipped kitchen and a breakfast room. Or, opt to stay in their one-bedroom bungalow that accommodates up to four people. After a thrilling day on the water, you can relax in a rocking chair on your cabin's wide front porch and enjoy the clear mountain air and picturesque views. Although these cabins offer all the comforts of a fine hotel room, visitors will find no TVs or telephones, so they can truly "get away from it all." Pets are not allowed in the cabins. Horn's Creek Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) Resort
Large groups will find Horn's Creek Resort the perfect mountain getaway in Ocoee, Tennessee. The Resort covers 300 acres next to the Cherokee National Forest and bills itself as a "non-denominational organization" that specializes in large groups. Activities at the resort include the typical whitewater rafting and tubing on the Ocoee with their affiliate, the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Horn's Creek Resort offers a multitude of activities right on the property that include a water park with a 193-foot water slide, a wave pool and a lazy river. Additionally, Horn's Creek offers a ropes and a paintball course. Horn's Creek's nine cabins are large and can accommodate from 14 to 48 people. In addition, the Resort offers a bunkhouse complex with three bunkhouses that can sleep from 20 to 52 visitors. The dining hall can seat almost 500 people with chef-prepared cuisine, or the kitchen will pack lunches for you to take on your Ocoee River adventures. In addition, the resort offers three large pavilions for social activities or family gatherings.
