Military Camps For Teens

Military Camps for Teens

Military camps can be found all across the United States and are specifically designed for teenage boys and girls. These camps teach honor, discipline, commitment and military conduct. Rigorous and intense physical training is also part of daily life, including cardio, martial arts, chin-ups, crunches and push-ups. The goal is to teach students the importance of healthy eating and staying fit. Most camps require that teens choose to attend, however some are designed to instill discipline and respect in troubled teens.

U.S. Army Cadet Corps

The U.S. Army Cadet Corps summer program offers four different programs: basic cadet training, basic cadet and basic leader course, basic cadet and ranger school and The Army Cadet Martial Arts Program. Each program is physically and mentally demanding, teaching student's leadership, military drills, marksmanship, martial arts, survival skills and rappelling. This summer camp is geared toward 13- to 18-year-old teenagers who have an interest in joining the Army once they are of age.
