Refill Paintball Co2

All paintball guns require propellant to power the cylinder or air tank.

Paintball guns utilize CO2 as a propellant to shoot paintballs. Most players prefer CO2 because it's inexpensive and relatively easy to refill.

Instructions

1. Check the hydro test date on the side of the cylinder to make sure the expiration date is still valid.

2. Determine the cylinder size and type by looking at the sticker on the side of the tank. It will say either "dip tube" or "siphon tube." If your cylinder is a dip tube tank, disregard Step 8 below.

3. Attach the cylinder to the hanging scale. Open the bleed valve and allow the cylinder to completely drain out until it it's empty. Close the bleed valve.

4. Screw in the ASA adapter on the two-valve CO2 refill kit into the bottom of the cylinder. Use a crescent wrench to secure the connection. Attach the nozzle at the end of the fill hose to the cylinder base. Set all valve options and the ASA adapter on the refill kit to "Off."

5. Attach the cylinder to the fill station. Twist and tighten the valve on top of the ASA adapter until the pin pushes through the base of the cylinder.

6. Hang the cylinder on the digital scale and zero it out.

7. Close off the bleed valve of the refill kit. Open the main valve on the cylinder and the main cutoff valve of the refill kit. Fill the cylinder to one ounce under the stated size of the cylinder. The scale will give you the current weight so you can determine the appropriate time to cease filling.

8. Close the main valve on the cylinder. Remove the ASA adapter and the kit. Close the cutoff valve on the refill kit. Open the bleed valve.

9. Close all of the valves and disconnect the cylinder from the fill hose to remove the tank from the fill station.
