Tippmann A5 Egrip Instructions

Tippmann products are made for paintball gaming.

Adding an E-Grip to a Tippmann A-5 paintball marker will provide a faster trigger mechanism and near semi-automatic firing capability. The kit is made for home installation with minimal hand tools.

Instructions

1. Detach the hose coil from the tank and trigger mechanism. Remove the air cylinder by turning it 3/4 of a turn counterclockwise. Point the marker in a safe direction and pull the trigger until any stored gas is expelled.

2. Remove the two lower push-pins from the trigger housing. This allows for the removal of the trigger housing. Pull the upper receiver off the marker (this is a rectangular device on the top of the weapon). Unscrew and remove the receiver bolt.

3. Push the 9 volt battery into the battery fixture (two wires leading into the battery lug fixture) in the grip. Install the new receiver into the receiver housing and screw in the bolt. Install the two push-pins into the grip. Use the hex wrench to screw in the tank cylinder.

4. Reconnect the hose to the tank and to the new grip.

5. Test the trigger action of the new grip by firing a few practice rounds at a safe target.
