Mesquite is a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
Founded in 1873, Mesquite is located in north central Texas and is just east of Dallas. Residents enjoy over 220 days of sunshine in any given year and the city has become a logistics hub for the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. Mesquite is also home to manufacturing and service-based industries. Being at the convergence of four interstate highways, as well as its close location to Dallas, a number of hotels in the city service travelers, workers and visitors.

The Days Inn in western Mesquite is conveniently positioned on State Route 80. It is 2 miles west of the Town East Mall and central Mesquite and located near the former site of the Big Town Mall. When the mall was built in 1959 it was the first enclosed, air-conditioned shopping mall in the Southwest. Rooms at the hotel feature microwaves, refrigerators and satellite television.
