The Ocoee River is a good place for whitewater rafting.
Ocoee, Tennessee, is located in Polk County. The name comes from the Cherokee term for "apricot vine place." The Ocoee River offers opportunities for whitewater rafting, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Sugarloaf Mountain Park, located in Ocoee, has a 1996 scale model of the Olympic race at the foot of the Ocoee Dam. Several cabins are available for rent in the area.
Horn's Creek NOC Resort
Horn's Creek offers nine large cabins that are good for large groups. These cabins can accommodate 14 to 48 people and each has its own central heat and air. Amenities for each cabin include a full kitchen, linens and utensils. Select cabins have a working fireplace, bunk beds and a loft. The resort is located on 300 acres next to the Cherokee National Forest. Activities include a water park, low/high ropes course, adventure races, paintball course and rafting on the Ocoee River. The water park has a 100-foot water slide, lazy river, wave pool and wet climbing wall. The Country Store is just across the creek from the dining hall and offers souvenirs, gifts, snacks, ice cream and personal items.

Lost Creek Cabins
Lost Creek Cabins has six cabins available. These cabins sleep three to nine people. Each cabin is equipped with a hot tub for up to six people and a gas log fireplace. The cabins also have a kitchen and come with linens. Each cabin is individually owned. Nearby attractions include Ocoee Rafting, Blanche Manor, Big Frog Expeditions and SunBurst Rafting.

Ocoee Riverside Lodge
The Ocoee Riverside Lodge is designed for groups of 12 to 102 people. Each of the eight cabins are heated/air conditioned and have bunks. The cabins do not come with kitchens, but there is a large dining hall where meals are served by an executive chef. Steaks, fresh vegetables and homemade recipes are all used to create fine cuisine. On-site activities include volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, family river tubing trips, riverside access and nightly bonfires. This lodge offers packages for groups of 12 or more.
