The Nerf-branded Buzzsaw toy gun is able to fire a series of Nerf foam pellets when the trigger is depressed. You can make an automatic firing airsoft-type rapid fire weapon from the Nerf Buzzsaw by modifying the trigger. You will need to partially disassemble the Nerf Buzzsaw, which will void its warranty. A few hardware tools are needed as is adult supervision if you are underage, since some cutting of the Buzzsaw will need to be done.
Instructions
1. Put a bath towel on a table. Put the Nerf Buzzsaw on its side on the bath towel with the barrel facing to the left.
2. Remove the two screws from the top edge in front of the tube assembly with the Phillips screwdriver.
3. Remove the screw at the bottom edge in front of the rotating barrel assembly with the Phillips screwdriver.
4. Remove the screws from around the handle at the back of the Nerf Buzzsaw with the Phillips screwdriver.
5. Remove the screw at the back end of the handle of the Nerf Buzzsaw with the Phillips screwdriver.
6. Lift the top shell of the Nerf Buzzsaw off the bottom shell. Put the top shell aside for reassembly later.
7. Pull back on the trigger that is in the bottom shell. Mark the top of the trigger where it enters the tube assembly with the black Magic Marker.
8. Remove the screw near the top edge of the trigger with the Phillips screwdriver.
9. Pull the trigger off the bottom shell of the Nerf Buzzsaw with your fingers.
10. Cut off the top of the trigger, using the blade of the utility knife at the mark made with the black magic marker.
11. Sand down the cut end of the trigger with the rough sandpaper.
12. Put the trigger back into its original position. Reattach the screw.
13. Put the top shell back onto the bottom shell of the Nerf Buzzsaw. Reattach the screws.
14. Go into your backyard. Drop a dozen or more plastic pellets into the tube at the top of your airsoft-type automatic gun.
15. Aim your airsoft-type automatic gun at a tree or rock. Depress and hold down on the trigger to fire the plastic pellets one after another automatically at the target.
