Troubleshoot A Pcs Paintball Gun That Is Losing Air

A paintball marker in use

Troubleshooting a PCS paintball gun that is losing air may appear to be a daunting task, but it is not as difficult as it appears. Air leaks are a common problem for all paintball gun models, and typically the repairs are quite simple and relatively inexpensive.

Instructions

1. Disconnect your air tank and verify that it is not the cause of the problem. If the air tank appears to be leaking without being connected to the gun, you will likely need to repair the tank regulator.

2. Disassemble your PCS paintball gun if the tank is not the problem. Examine the o-rings throughout the gun and replace any that are damaged or broken.

3. Clean the internal pieces of the PCS gun and lubricate them with paintball gun oil. Other oils can damage the internals of the gun.

4. Reassemble the gun and reconnect the tank. Test the gun's firing without using any paintballs to see if the problem has been solved.
