The Best Birthday Gifts For Men

Go the extra mile and give your man an extra special birthday gift.

Choosing the right birthday gift for your man is essential. It is extremely important that your gift suits him, whatever his interests. There are many options available, and that extra amount of thought you put into selecting his gift will definitely be noticed. Make his next birthday the one he remembers with fondness.

A Literary Gift

If your man is a keen reader, then you can track down an early edition of his favorite childhood book. If his favorite author is coming to town for a signing, phone the store the author is appearing in and arrange for a personal message and a signature to be inscribed in a copy for your man. You could also get him a subscription to a literary magazine, such as "Granta" or "McSweeney's."

A Hi-Tech Gift

Make your man the envy of his friends with a gadget for his birthday. This could be something practical, such as an iPhone or an iPad, or something fun like a games console. For a younger brother or a son, you could go for a radio-controlled car or helicopter. Looking through men's magazines will help you decide on the ideal kit.

A Gift of Adventure

For the man who really has everything, throw caution to the wind and organize an experience gift. The sky is the limit, as there are countless options available, from NASCAR racing and skydiving to paintball and hot air ballooning. If the experience is out of town, then stay in a hotel and take him out to dinner the night before.

A Stylish Gift

If your man prides himself on being a sharp dresser, then you could arrange for him to spend a day with a personal shopper. He can visit his favorite stores and indulge in a little guilt-free spending. If he feels overworked and overstressed, then whisk him away to a spa for a weekend and pamper him. A watch or a silver bracelet from you will complete any outfit he chooses.

Upgrade Spyder Mr1

The Spyder MR1 is a tactical paintball gun.

The Spyder MR1 is a semiautomatic paintball gun. The gun is fashioned as a military-style weapon for tactical use in competitive paintball tournaments. There are numerous upgrades that you can add to make it a more effective weapon. The gun comes with a removable stock, and it operates on CO2 cartridges. It has an aluminum body and rubber grips. Spyder makes many MR1 upgrades, but custom options are available from a number of companies.

Instructions

1. Add a wraparound grip for increased stability when holding the gun. The grip will reduce the chance of slipping in wet conditions.

2. Add a tactical scope to increase accuracy and help pinpoint targets in the field. You can use the tactical scope for short- and long-range shots.

3. Add an adjustable shoulder stock to diversify your shooting options. Use the stock for sniper-style shooting, and retract the stock for close-quarters shooting.

4. Add a red dot laser sight for increased accuracy. Laser sights are not allowed in some competitions, but they will increase accuracy during practice.

5. Add a barrel extension for long-range shooting. This works well if you are a sniper on a competitive paintball team.

Choose Airsoft Masks

Choose your mask wisely.

In paintball and airsoft, the mask is among the most important pieces of equipment. Not only does the mask protect your face and eyes from balls traveling as fast as 200 feet per second, but it also determines a player's field of vision. Masks must be comfortable enough to wear through an entire game, and durable enough to withstand multiple barrages. When selecting a mask, there are several aspects to consider to ensure the mask is of high quality.

Instructions

1. Make sure the mask has good lenses. Lenses must possess two essential qualities: they must provide a good range of vision and they must be anti-fog or fog resistant. First, most masks will give their range of vision in degrees, such as 240; and the higher the degree, the better the mask. Second, the lenses with the fog prevention will be thermal lenses. Cheaper masks will be fog resistant and may require anti-fog solution. Additionally, some masks offer interchangeable lenses. These are a good choice because they allow the player the option of switching between lenses of different shades or tints.

2. Look at the foam lining the lenses and inside the mask, as the foam will largely determine the mask's comfort level. While foams differ depending on who makes the mask, try to find a foam that is double-layered and open-cell. Open-cell foam is like memory foam seen in mattresses and pillows, and much more comfortable than other kinds of foams typically used in masks.

3. Check to see if the mask advertises a ventilation system. Though masks with such systems are more expensive, they allow the player to breathe more easily and reduce the chances of fog.

4. Select a style based on head coverage and your personality. Some players may be comfortable with the minimum required coverage, while others may want a mask that covers the neck and top of the head as well. When selecting the style, keep in mind that the more popular styles will be more expensive than others, even if both styles are of equal quality.

Get A Laser On A Gun In "Modern Warfare 2"

Staying alive in a heated "Modern Warfare 2" online match can be a struggle and often comes down to who has the best weapon setup. Reaction time and knowledge of the map are important, but if you are not comfortable with your weapons, you will not be a very effective teammate. You can enhance many of the guns available for online play by unlocking either the red dot sight or holographic sight, both of which provide laser targeting assistance.

Instructions

1. Play online matches via Xbox Live in order to level up and unlock perks and advanced weapons.

2. Select the gun to which you would like to add a laser sight. Laser sights are available for all handguns, shotguns, machine pistols, light and sub-machine guns and assault rifles.

3. Stick with your gun of choice until you earn enough kills to unlock the red dot sight. Assault rifles, for instance, require 25 kills, while machine pistols require 10. The game will alert you when you have unlocked the sight.

4. Equip the red dot sight in between games in the class customization menu.

5. Earn kills by aiming down the red dot sight to unlock the holographic sight. Once again, the specific number of kills depends on the class of weapon, and the game will let you know when the holographic sight is available.

Paintball Science Fair Project Ideas

Paintball Science Fair Project Ideas

Paintballs are highly compressed balls of paint that explode on impact. Paintball guns are handheld, high-power projectile guns with adjustable speed and barrel lengths. As a result, paintball guns can be extremely useful tools in science fair experiments dealing with velocity, speed and other natural effects. Such experiments, however, require proper safety steps, such as always performing the experiments outside and while wearing proper eye protection.

Applied Temperature

Demonstrate how temperature affects paintball performance. This experiment requires 50 paintballs, an oven, a freezer, a vice, thermometers, a paintball gun and insulated containers. Before starting, make your hypothesis. Put your paintball gun in the vice, shoot a few paintballs until you hit the bull's-eye consistently. Place half the remaining paintballs in the insulated containers and then place the containers in the freezer. Warm the other half in an oven, at about 200 degrees. Note any changes in the shape of the paintballs and the changes to the firing pattern of both sets of paintballs. Test how these changes support your hypothesis.

Barrel Length

You can test how barrel length affects paintball accuracy. For this experiment, you need a paintball gun, 50 paintballs, four gun barrels (8, 12, 14, and 16 inches long), a vice to hold your gun and a target. Write down your hypothesis. Put your gun in the vice and fire a few paintballs with the eight-inch gun barrel. Adjust your gun until you hit the bull's-eye consistently. Now substitute the different length gun barrels, one at a time, and shoot several paintballs with each at the target. Note changes in accuracy. Once you've gotten your information compare it with your hypothesis to test it's veracity.

Launch Velocity

You can test the launch velocity of paintballs. You'll need different varieties of paintballs, a paintball gun, a vice, a protractor to measure angles, a tape measure, stopwatch, pencil, paper and a target. Place the gun in the vice with the barrel pointing straight up. Adjust the speed of the gun to 300 fps (feet per second). Shoot the gun and start the stopwatch. Stop the stopwatch when the paintball hits the ground. Use the equation V= ½ x g x time of flight to get your velocity. G equals the acceleration added to the object because of gravity. This is 9.8 meters per second, squared. Set the gun at a 45-degree angle and perform the same activity. This time, use the equation V=0.71 x g x time of flight. Perform this experiment on different types of paintball and note the results.

How A Paint Ball Gun Is Made

A typical paintball marker with a plastic hopper on top.

Paintball is a popular outdoor sport that uses paintball markers as the main piece of equipment. Paintball guns use a system of compressed air, nitrogen, or CO2 to push the paintballs through the gun and into the barrel. There are pump action, semiautomatic, and fully automatic paintball guns, but the general process of manufacture remains the same throughout.

Materials Used

There are two main components to a paintball gun--the barrel and the trigger mechanism. The trigger consists of a bolt and valves to control air or gas flow. The barrel attaches to the paintball gun body and is usually threaded. These are usually made out of aluminum, with plastic used for enhancements such as military sim looks. The other components are not part of the main paintball marker package, and are bought separately--the gas system and the hopper.

The markers are made in their separate parts on specialty manufacturing machines and fabricators, and then the parts are put together to form the full paintball marker.

Barrel Construction

The paintball body sticks with one material, but the barrels can be found with many different materials. In addition to aluminum, you'll find ceramic and stainless steel. Barrels can be one piece or two pieces. The two piece sets allow you to put different diameter inserts into the main barrel. This allows you to match the barrel to the specific paint that you are using. Barrels are often milled, and the latest barrels can screw in to the body. Older barrels use a slide-in system that is not quite as secure.

Trigger Construction

The triggers are made out of aluminum, and connects in to the bolt system. When you pull the trigger on a paintball gun, gas is released from your tank. At the same time a paintball is dropped from the hopper into the body of the gun, and is then propelled at high speed out through the barrel.

Firing Mechanism

The entire firing mechanism of the paintball gun is considered the bolt and valve system. There are closed and open bolt systems which function in slightly different ways, but end up with approximately the same level of performance. The valve is the part that controls when the gun fires, while the bolt is what controls both the air flow of either gas or oxygen, along with the balls.

Mechanical Markers

The main area that paintball markers differ is whether they are mechanical or electro-pneumatic. Mechanical markers do not have any computer boards handling ball feeding, rate of fire, or gas propulsion. Instead they use a spring and hammer which provides all of the input for the firing mechanism. Mechanical markers are the less expensive of the two types, and are also easier to manufacture due to not having computer circuits.

Electro-Pneumatic Markers

Many modern paintball markers are electro-pneumatic. This is a paintball gun that has a computer board that controls the firing mechanism and the ball feeding. The additional steps required to make the board raise the price of the marker. The construction ends up being lighter weight than the mechanical markers. The rate of fire also tends to be much higher. One major advantage is that not as many balls break when going through the marker, since the feed rate is controlled by the chip.

Buy Rave Goggles & Masks

Buy Rave Goggles & Masks

Rave goggles and masks come in many styles and colors. When buying rave goggles and masks, you'll need to decide which color and style fits you best, but beware: The possibilities are endless.

Costume Shops

If you're not worried about having high-quality goggles and masks, online costume shops are the place to go. Costume shops often offer cheaper, lower quality costume pieces.

Alternative Dress Shops

Alternative dress shops are dedicated to certain styles, including punk, goth and rave. These types of stores will often carry different styles of rave goggles and masks that are usually of higher quality then costume shops, according the website Raveready.

Custom Made

Many diehard ravers will often go to extreme lengths to get custom-made goggles and masks. This can often be achieved by placing orders with smaller manufacturers, or some alternative dress shops. The prices for these goggles and masks will often be substantially higher, but are tailored to the customer's interest.

Play The Duel Masters Card Game

Duel Masters is one of the many battle card games imported from Japan, where two players use cards of different creatures and spells to battle with one another. The game play is similar to the more well-known Yu-Gi-Oh, with one major exception: the ultimate object is to destroy your opponent's shields to beat him rather than deplete a set number of life points. As with most of these card games, it revolves around the strategy of playing the right mix of creatures and spells to beat your opponent's cards.

Instructions

1. Draw five cards from the top of your Duel Masters deck and lay them face down in a row in front of you without looking at them. These cards will serve as your shields. Draw five more cards for your hand and decide which of the two players goes first.

2. Draw one card from the top of the deck and add it to your hand at the start of your turn (the player who has the very first turn in the game does not draw a card on that first turn).

3. Place a card from your hand into your mana zone if you wish. Place it upside down to read the mana number; this number acts like money. There is no limit to cards you can have in the mana zone, but you can only place one per turn, and they can only be used for mana once placed there.

4. Summon a creature from your hand by putting it in the Battle zone. You must have enough mana in your mana zone needed to summon the creature---the required number is on the card's top left corner---and at least one mana card used must be from the same civilization as the creature. You can't attack with this creature until the next turn.

5. Play spell cards to cast a spell. As with creatures, you need enough mana to cast the spell with at least one mana card being from the same civilization as the spell card. The many effects a spell card can have include destroying creatures, giving bonuses to your creatures and increasing your ability to draw or play cards.

6. Attack with your creatures after they are summoned. If your opponent has a creature in the Battle zone, tap it to attack it. The creature with the higher power number (in the lower left corner) wins the battle; the losing creature is removed and placed in the graveyard.

7. Attack your opponent directly by tapping your attacking card. Destroy one of your opponent's shields by selecting that card; your opponent takes that card and puts it in his deck. When one player has no shields left, the other player can directly attack one more time to win the game.

Customize Tippmann X7

Customize Tippmann X7

The Tippmann X7 is one of the most customizable paintball guns on the market. Although its performance is great right out of the box, a wide range of available customizations allows for improved accuracy and rate of fire. Many upgrades also enhance the gun's aesthetics.

Instructions

1. Unscrew the stock barrel of the Tippmann X7 in a counterclockwise motion. Replace it with an aftermarket barrel and screw it in firmly but gently. Depending on the size, aftermarket barrels can increase distance and accuracy of paintballs.

2. Attach a compressed air tank to the air intake adapter by screwing it in. Compressed air is more consistent than CO2 and will make your Tippmann X7 more accurate.

3. Remove the two pins from the back plate of the gun. These pins can be removed by just pulling on them. Once they are off, pull the back plate out of the Tippmann X7. Slide the collapsible stock into the back of the gun where the back plate was. There is only one way to slide it on, so there is no risk of putting it on incorrectly. Use the two pins that were removed to attach the stock to the gun.

4. Slide a red dot sight onto the top rail of the Tippmann X7, making sure the front of the sight is facing the front of the gun. Use the Allen wrench that is included with the Tippmann X7 tool kit and tighten the sight onto the rail.

About Gas Chambers

Arguably the most cruel form of capital punishment, the gas chamber has an interesting history. Here we will discuss that history as well as the facts, function and significance of the gas chamber.

History of

Gas chambers have been used as a means of executing condemned prisoners since 1924 when Gee Jon was executed in Nevada. Hydrogen cyanide, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide have all been used in gas chambers.

Nazis used the gas chamber to execute millions of people during the Third Reich for their public euthanasia to kill physically and mentally handicapped people, homosexuals and to perform genocide on the Jewish.

Invented

Searching for a more humane way to execute prisoners than shooting or hanging in the Nevada State Prison system, Dr. Allen McLean Hamilton, a toxicologist, suggested the use of toxic gas. An attempt was made to pipe gas into an inmate's cell but was unsuccessful.

It wasn't until 1921, when Army Medical Corps Maj. Delos A. Turner designed the first chamber, that gas chamber executions started to take place.

The Facts

The gas chamber is used to kill condemned inmates in the United States and other countries. It is a steel, sealed chamber that is filled with poisonous gas while the inmate is inside. Hydrogen cyanide is the most commonly used gas.

In the 1980s much controversy arose over the gas chamber, centered on whether it is cruel and unusual punishment and causes too much suffering. Most states use lethal injection as capital punishment. Five states still have the gas chamber option: Arizona, California, Maryland, Missouri and Wyoming.

Function

The gas chamber functions by holding in the poisonous gas that is created when cyanide pellets are dropped into sulfuric acid, creating hydrogen cyanide gas.

The pellets are placed inside the chamber into a small holding compartment, and sulfuric acid is pumped into a cup beneath the pellets. The inmate is brought in and asked for a final statement. Then the pellets are released into the acid and the chamber fills with poisonous gas.

Significance

The topic of the gas chamber is one of high controversy. Even though it is no longer used regularly, it remains one of the major arguing points for death penalty critics. Even death penalty supporters have issues with the method.

One important issue is the problem of dealing with the poisonous gas after the execution has taken place. Another is the barbarism of the Holocaust that it brings to mind.

Protesters point to the execution of Caryl Chessman in 1960. He told reporters he would nod if it hurt. Witnesses reported he nodded several times.

The gas chamber has been called the most painful and cruel form of capital punishment.

The Advantages Of A Twobarrel Carburetor

A double-barrel carburetor contributes to higher performance.

A carburetor mixes air and fuel in an internal combustion engine. Energy from the fuel is amplified when mixed with volatile hydrocarbons in air. Barrels on a carburetor allow air into the engine manifold as the vehicle moves. The barrel is wide at the outermost and narrows as it closes in to the carburetor to increase speed of airflow. Adding barrels to the carburetor increases the amount of air a carburetor can take in.

Increased Engine Performance

A double-barrel carburetor allows for a higher rate of airflow from the engine. Higher airflow charges the mixture of air and fuel necessary for the higher performance quality. Double-barrel carburetors can be actuated by the accelerator linkage to open sequentially, with the second brought into play once the primary barrel is completely open. This will allow for greater fuel and air mixture, which enhances horsepower and performance.

Efficiency

Two barrels on a carburetor can allow for differentiating intake. Primary and secondary barrels can be of differing sizes and can be calibrated to deliver different air and fuel mixtures. This results in higher volumetric efficiency.

Compact Design

Double-barrel carburetors offer a more compact design than single-barrel units, allowing for more room in the engine compartment for other components.

Maintain A Handgun

Caring for a handgun is not difficult but is a responsibility you must take seriously. Caring for a handgun properly will keep it delivering reliable and dependable service for decades. Cleaning and polishing are minimal tasks but important to keep the piece looking beautiful. Storage and safety are always important when dealing with firearms.

Instructions

1. Unload the handgun. You should never handle the firearm until you have unloaded it and made sure that it is safe, unless you are preparing to shoot it. Remove all shells from the weapon and remove the clip if it has one. Sight down the barrel to be sure there is no bullet in the chamber.

2. Strip the weapon for cleaning. In the case of a semi-automatic, this requires the removal of the barrel and slide from the weapon. For revolvers, remove the cylinder. Always clean the handgun with solvents to remove the residue of both the ammunition and the gunpowder discharged during shooting. A wire brush of a slightly larger removes lingering traces of lead and copper from the bullets that may remain in the barrel. Lubricate any parts that require it and then reassemble the weapon. Give it a final wipe down with a lightly oiled cloth to protect the metal finish from rusting during storage.

3. Place the safety lock on the weapon. These are either a cable that passes through the chamber of a semi-automatic or a trigger guard on a revolver. Store the weapon away either in a gun case or safe. Storage with the safety lock will prevent accidents if children find the gun or use of the weapon on the owner if found during a theft. Always store the ammunition away from the weapon.

Proper Way To Make A Fire Lane

Fire lanes provide access for fire-fighting equipment next to buildings.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration defines a fire lane as an area "allowing fire apparatus to approach a building and operate effectively." The fire lane can be closed or open to parking or traffic. According to the OSHA publication "Fire Service Features," a fire lane plays a critical role in allowing effective placement of firefighting equipment, as well as other emergency responders, into the building.

Fire Lane Planning

The street serves as the fire lane for buildings constructed adjacent to public streets or roads. Buildings set back from the street require a fire lane. Several factors go into the placement of a fire lane. Place the fire lane where fire fighters will need to park their equipment in the event of a fire. High-rise buildings, which may necessitate an aerial truck, require fire lanes away from the building to give the ladder trucks room to operate. For a single-story building, place the fire lane next to the building for pumper truck access.

Keep your fire lane free of overhead obstructions that would limit the size of fire equipment. Allow for large enough turning radii at corners for fire trucks as well. In many cases, you'll need to plan your fire lane larger than necessary for the fire equipment used in the area. Fire trucks are replaced, occasionally with larger equipment, more often than buildings and their associated fire lanes.

A fire lane must measure a minimum of 20 feet wide according to the "Uniform Fire Code" handbook. A fire lane can be closed to traffic or parking, or open for use. Policy for most fire departments allows fire personnel to use the fire trucks to push parked vehicles out of the way in the event of a fire.

State and local ordinances vary as to mark fire lanes. For fire lanes where you plan to prohibit parking, include yellow or red stripes on the pavement and curb. Place no parking signs prominently along the lane. Some signs specify the penalty for parking violations, while others specify the area as a fire lane.

Minnesota Laws On Radar Guns

Possession of radar guns is legal in Minnesota.

Whether you're clocking the speed of traffic on your street or measuring pitch speeds at the ballpark, a radar gun helps give a glimpse into the world of motion and physics around you. Although they're a tool for the curious and armchair highway patrol members, radar guns are a perfectly legal device in Minnesota.

Possession and Use of Radar Guns

No Minnesota law prohibits the possession or use of radar guns by civilians, so owning and operating one while driving, on roadsides or from any other public place is acceptable. Having a radar gun doesn't provide citizens with license to write citations or otherwise impersonate police or assume their responsibilities. In some cases, operating a radar gun in the vicinity of a police officer using one may interfere with the accuracy of his readings. While it's not illegal, it's certainly not smiled upon by authorities.

Detecting Radar Guns

Many drivers employ radar guns in order to detect the use of radar guns by police. These devices are legal in Minnesota, although driving laws prohibit attaching anything to the inside of your windshield. Radar detectors must be set on the dash, clipped to sun visors or placed in another spot not on the windshield.

Federal law prohibits the use of radar-gun detecting equipment inside commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight above 10,000 lbs.

Jamming Radar Guns

Various active-jamming and passive-jamming devices are available for drivers who want to avoid detection by radar guns. Passive jammers add noise and distortion to a radar gun's channel in hope of confusing the radar gun, while active jammers modify the radar signal itself. Active jammers are prohibited by the Federal Communications Commission, and their use may result in up to a $75,000 fine.

Rules For Spy Snap Card Game

The Spy Snap card game is ideal for family game night.

The I Spy Snap card game has a twist on the classic I Spy game. Instead of calling out random objects players see, as in in the original "I Spy" game, players call "Snap!" when their picture cards match someone else's. The game comes with a standard deck of cards and an instructional book. Up to 12 players ages 5 to 10 years can play, although families can play together.

Setting Up Deck

Randomly choose a dealer by choosing the person who last won a game or by flipping a coin, for instance. The dealer shuffles the cards and deals them to all of the players. Some players can have one more card than the other players. Once the players receive their cards, they turn them face-down in front of them. The player on the left of the dealer plays first, and the remaining plays go clockwise. Players should keep their cards out of their opponents' view when moving the cards from the face-down pile to the face-up pile. Once players have looked at their cards, they can reveal them.

Playing the Game

Each player reveals her top card. If someone turns over a card that matches another player’s card, that player should be the first one to say "Snap!" The player who says "Snap!" first wins both piles of cards and adds the cards (face-down) to his pile. If two players say "Snap!" at the same time, they put their piles together in the center of the table; it's called the "Snap Pot" pile. The two matching cards must be on top of the pile. The two players then continue to play until he or she says "Snap Pot!" first when receiving a card that matches one of the cards on top of the Snap Pot.

Eliminating Ties

Sometimes players can call out "Snap!" or "Snap pot!" by accident or by mistake, causing confusion or too many ties. If the game has too many ties, then put something in the table that players must touch instead of calling out "Snap!" A piece of paper with the word "Snap", a bell or a small rubber ball are all fine to use. Then the first player who puts her hand on the object wins the cards. Plays continue until one player wins all of the cards. Whoever wins all the cards, wins the game.

Adult Bridal Shower Gifts

An adult bridal shower is the environment for a wide range of edgy gifts.

An adult-themed bridal shower or bachelorette party is ideal for a bride-to-be who likes to be edgy. Enjoying an adult bridal shower involves playing naughty party games and exchanging theme-friendly gifts. Brainstorming ideas for adult bridal shower gifts gives you the opportunity to present some enjoyable moments during the event.

Adult Edibles

A gift of something sweet and sensual not only stirs conversation at the party, but also brings smiles to attendees' faces. Visiting a custom bakery that specializes in adult baked goods is ideal for someone who doesn't have baking experience. These bakeries create and decorate cakes to look like suggestive body parts and adult scenes. Alternately, you can order shaped cake molds and make your own adult, naughty cake at home with cake mix and decorating materials. The adult edible not only serves as a gift, but as the centerpiece and snack for an adult bridal shower.

Lingerie

Lingerie gifts given at a bridal shower are meant to help the bride enjoy her honeymoon with her new husband. It's almost traditional to give at least one piece of lingerie to a bride-to-be, but an adult bridal shower is the ideal event for such things. Silk and lace in delicate colors are timeless choices, but you can get risqu and give gifts of leather and other naughty materials for a titillating occasion. Gag lingerie, such as edible panties and bras, are also suitable gifts for an adult bridal shower.

Novelties

Adult novelties would make someone blush at a normal bridal shower, but anything is suitable at an adult shower. Visit adult novelty shops or look online for a myriad of toys, costumes, board games and other items that are aimed at couples who want to explore their relationship sensually. These gifts may get a chuckle out of the unsuspecting bride when she unwraps them; they may also help her look forward to her wedding night.

Gift Cards and Coupons

If you're too shy to select a naughty gift at the adult bridal shower, you can give gift cards and coupons as gifts instead. Lingerie stores, adult novelty stores and other related boutiques often offer online gift cards for just this type of situation. This also allows the bride to select the types of lingerie or novelties she likes, instead of relying on someone else to choose them for her.

Use Co2 With A Bb Gun

CO2 cartridges

BB guns can provide hours of entertainment and enjoyment, and if one intends on shooting a large amount for the day- a CO2 powered gun just might be for you! This article will give you some tips on use CO2 cartridges with your BB gun, as well as a few pros and cons as compared to pneumatic airguns.

Instructions

Choosing a gun and loading CO2 cartridges

1. Use CO2. Using CO2 (carbon dioxide) cartridges allows the user to shoot many BBs consecutively. A CO2 cartridge contains liquefied carbon dioxide, that becomes a gas when exposed to oxygen. The cartridge can often shoot dozens of shots before having to be replaced. This allows for much more shooting in less time, as the user does not have to cock or pump the gun before each shot. Most CO2 guns have large magazines, so the shooter simply pulls the trigger for each shot, with fewer stoppages for reloading or cocking the gun.

2. Load a CO2 cartridge carefully. Most CO2 guns have a space inside the handle where the cartridge is placed. Normally a screw is loosened until one side of the handle comes off, the old cartridge is removed, and a new one is installed. The handle side is replaced, and the screw is tightened until a loud hiss is heard as the cartridge lip or mouth is pierced as it is tightened into position. The gun is now ready to shoot.

3. Shoot in cold weather only when necessary. Cold weather adversely affects CO2 cartridges, you will usually get a lower amount of shots with less power than normal. It is highly recommended that you use CO2 in warmer weather, and use pneumatic or spring guns for the colder months.

4. Prevent freezing by moving slowly and carefully. It is not a good idea to pull the trigger as fast as you can when shooting with CO2, especially in cooler weather. The reason for this is that the gas escaping from the cartridge is extremely cold, and it can freeze the gasket around the cartridge mouth, as well as further up into the gun. This will cause jams, or the gun simply will not fire until it thaws out. This can put a real damper on your shooting time! So, try not to "machine gun" through your magazine!

5. Empty your gun of CO2. Shoot each cartridge until it is empty, don't put your gun away with any gas still loaded in the gun. This will erode the seals and the gun will leak gas. Plus it is dangerous! Also, remember that as you shoot, the power of your shots will lessen the more you use up a cartridge. Meaning, the last 10 shots will not have nearly the velocity that the first 10 shots will have.

Videotape A Soccer Game

Parents might want to video a soccer game to capture proud memories of their child.

Recording a soccer game on video can serve several purposes. The video can be used as a coaching tool to point out areas where the players need to improve and explain certain strategies. Video of a soccer game can also be used by parents who want to capture their son or daughter's proud moments and cherish them for years to come. Video techniques for a soccer game can vary depending on the future purpose of the video and the specific motivations of the videographer.

Instructions

1. Ask the referee and coach prior to the game if you can be permitted to video the game from the coach's side of the field. This will help you avoid spectators walking in front of the camera and obscuring the game. Or, if the soccer field has raised stands, you may walk up the stands and capture the game from a higher perspective.

2. Set up your tripod if you plan to use one. Attach the camera to the tripod prior to the start of the game with enough time to assure that it is sturdy and level. Test the camera by panning it back and forth from goal to goal. This is an important motion if you want to capture the entire game, rather than if you merely wish to capture specific aspects of the game. If you are unable to see the entire field during this panning motion, step back from the sideline or go up higher onto the stands until you can pan across the entire field.

3. Move to other areas around the soccer field to get some unique perspectives, if desired. Remove the camera from the tripod (if you were using one). For example, video from behind the goal for an artistic shot through the netting. Or, video from one of the corners of the field to catch up-close shots of corner kicks and penalty shots.

4. Zoom in to create a closer shot of action around each goal. However, be prepared to quickly zoom out if the defending team makes a quick break to the other end of the pitch. Use the zoom to capture up-close shots of your own child and unique moments such as half-time huddles.

5. Avoid any shaking or jiggling of the camera by keeping a steady grip on the tripod's pan handle. If the camera is secure, the video images should not appear to jiggle in an up and down motion. Many modern cameras are designed with built-in stabilizing technology that automatically corrects shakiness. Thus, using a tripod is not absolutely necessary, but will further ensure steady footage. The tripod's pan-handle allows you to steadily video and pan at a wide angle, but does restrict you from other more unique angles. Use a combination of both wide-angle panning and close-ups to create more interesting footage.

Coast Guard Boating Equipment Requirements

Coast Guard Boating Equipment Requirements

It's important for the safety of yourself and your crew to follow the Coast Guard boating rules and requirements. The Coast Guard lists four minimum required devices on board at all times. In addition, the Coast Guard recommends boats have other safety equipment on board.

Personal Flotation Devices

All boats should have one Type I, Type II, Type III or Type V personal flotation devices (PFD) on board for each person. Those on water skis or water tubes must also wear a life vest. Each individual on board should have a personal flotation device in good condition and the correct size. A Type I vest is an off-shore style life jacket, a Type II device is a near-shore buoyant vest, a Type III device is a flotation aid and a Type V device is a wearable special use device. Boats 16 feet or longer, excluding canoes and kayaks, must also have a throwable flotation device, which is also known as a Type IV.

Bell or Whistle

The Coast Guard requires every boat less than 65.6 feet in length to carry a sound-producing device. Larger boats must carry both a whistle and a bell.

Visual Distress Signals

The Coast Guard requires visual distress signals or flare guns on vessels in U.S. coastal waters, in large lakes and on high seas.

Fire Extinguishers

The Coast Guard requires one B-1 type hand portable fire extinguisher for boats under 26 feet. Larger boats (26 to 40 feet) must carry two B-1 types or a B2 type extinguisher. Larger boats (40 to 65 feet) must carry three B-1 type extinguishers or one B-1 and one B-2 device. A class B extinguisher puts out fires involving flammable liquids. Those liquids include gasoline, kerosene and oil. The numerical rating indicates the number of square feet the extinguisher can reach. The number also rates the amount of foam, CO2 and dry chemicals the extinguisher contains.

Additional recommended equipment

The Coast Guard recommends all boats carry an anchor, bucket, paddles, first aid kit and a VHF radio. In addition, all boats should have available on board a tool kit, extra fuel and water, sun protection and a flashlight.

Change The Needle In A Red Arrow Tagging Gun

Tagging guns allow price tags to be attached without damaging the material.

Retailers use tagging guns to attach labels and price tags to items on which a sticker label can't be used. A tagging gun is equipped with a hollow, sharp needle that penetrates one point on the item, usually clothing, to deliver a plastic thread fastener through it. The needle of a tagging gun does not last forever, however, and eventually will have to be replaced. As long as basic safety procedures are used, replacing the needle is a simple process.

Instructions

Removal and Replacement

1. Remove the protective needle cover that conceals the needle on the gun. Be sure to wear protective gloves to avoid being stuck by the needle.

2. Locate the needle release lever and switch it to release mode. The release lever is a small plastic switch at the base of the needle. When the lever is locked, a small tab on the level will be pointing towards the stock and handle. Rotate the lever counter-clockwise (for most red-arrow models) so the tab points away from the stock and handle in order to set it to release mode.

3. Grip the base of the needle gently with your fingers and pull away from the gun to extract the needle. Make sure your fingers are away from the trigger.

4. Slide the replacement needle into the barrel with the needle notch facing upwards. The notch is a small groove on one side of the needle's base, which is the wider, flat end of the needle. Push the needle in far enough for the end of the needle's base to be flush with the tagging gun's casing. The end of the base is where the rounded base ends, and the thin needle shape begins.

5. Rotate the release lever clockwise to set it to the locked position. Gently pull on the base of the needle to ensure it is locked into the barrel.

6. Attach the plastic needle cover to the tagging gun so the needle is concealed.

Make A Ghillie Suit Hood

Burlap is an excellent material for ghillie suit construction.

Constructing your own ghillie suit can be tedious and take over 100 hours of work, but doing it yourself can provide you with a well-fitted ghillie suit that has customized camouflage for the region you plan on hunting or photographing. To complete any ghillie suit you need to construct a ghillie hood. While some hunters, nature photographers and military professionals use a separate ghillie headpiece, others find it convenient to have a ghillie hood attached to their suit.

Instructions

1. Cut a piece of black netting with the scissors about twice the size of your boonie hat or 24 inches by 24 inches.

2. Sow the black netting to the top of the boonie hat with the front edge of the netting lined up with the brim of the hat. Extra netting should hang off the sides and back of the boonie hat only. Use simple stitches and tie them off with a square knot spaced every 4 inches until you have covered the hat.

3. Cut 1-inch-wide strips of camouflage burlap about 1 foot long with the scissors. You need enough strips to cover the netting on the boonie hat, so make at least 25. You can make more later if necessary.

4. Tie the end of each strip of camouflage burlap onto the netting sewn to the boonie hat, leaving about 10 inches of burlap hanging off the netting. Use a simple square knot to secure the burlap strips to the boonie hat netting.

5. Tear each camouflage burlap strip repeatedly until they are all completely frayed. Be sure to tear each strip of burlap as randomly as possible to help break up your ghillie hood's outline.

6. Place your new ghillie hood on your head while wearing your ghillie suit and use a mirror to make note of which squares of netting make contact with your ghillie suit around the sides and rear of your head. This is where you will attach the ghillie hood to your ghillie suit.

7. Sew the netting hanging off the back and sides of the ghilie hat to the ghillie suit along the netting squares you noted earlier. Continue to sew the excess squares of netting below the long squares to reinforce the connection of the ghillie hood to the ghillie suit.

Walk The Trigger On A Paintball Gun

Walking the trigger will make your gun shoot very quickly.

Walking the trigger on a paintball gun is a technique used to maximize rate of fire. This technique allows a player to shoot more paintballs at opponents. Walking the trigger is a simple motion, but can take some time to master. With a bit of patience, and plenty of time at the paintball field, the technique of walking the trigger can be mastered.

Instructions

1. Choose a paintball gun that is appropriate for walking. This type of paintball gun should be capable of shooting a high number of paintballs per second. Also, paintball guns with curved triggers tend to be easier to walk than those with straight triggers.

2. Equip the paintball gun with a compressed air tank and an electric hopper. To walk the trigger of a paintball gun, the gun must be able to feed paintballs into the gun quickly. Also, compressed air is a very efficient and stable air source that will not change pressure with the temperature.

3. Hold the gun in a shooting position that is comfortable and place the pointer finger and middle finger of one hand on the trigger of the paintball gun. To walk the gun, simply flip each finger back and alternate them as quickly as possible. The motion of the fingers will resemble a scissoring action.

4. Practice this technique during games and target practice. It will take some time to get used to the motion of walking the trigger. After a bit of practice, the rate of fire of your paintball gun should increase dramatically.

Make A Soft Gun Case

Firearms should be securley cased when not in use.

An uncased gun can attract dirt and moisture, leaving it rusted and unusable. There are many kinds of cases that a gun owner can purchase, but some people prefer to make a gun case based on their own need. A simple, soft gun case made of dyed or natural leather is both functional and beautiful. After the case is made, you can further customize it to truly make it your own.

Instructions

1. Lay the paper on the worktable, and draw with a pencil and yardstick a straight, vertical line at least 10 inches longer than the firearm.

2. Place the gun on the paper, with the trigger assembly point to the left, the barrel to the top and aligned alongside the pencil line.

3. Trace around the gun with a pencil, giving a 1-inch margin on the right side and a 4-inch margin on the top, bottom and left sides.

4. Cut out the paper pattern and transfer it to the leather.

5. Trace the pattern onto the leather for the left side of the case, and then turn it over and trace the right side of the case. Cut the leather according to the pattern.

6. Place the leather on the worktable and lay the firearm on the left side. Fold over the right side to encase the firearm.

7. Starting at the far top corner, use the snap tool to set the snaps every 2 inches apart and far enough into the margin to give a snug, comfortable fit for the firearm. Finish at the bottom corner of the case.

8. Trim off excess leather material from the case and burnish the edges by dampening them slightly and rubbing with a slick piece of hardwood.

Christian Youth Camp Team Games For Challenges

Use group challenges to bring home a message at Christian youth camp.

Christian teens can learn compelling messages through the challenge games they play at youth camp. Rock climbing, rope courses, paintball and zip-lining are exciting, high-energy challenges, but the team-building exercises are often the most life-changing and perception-altering challenges that teens encounter during camp.

Illegal Missionaries

Play this game indoors in the dark. Tell three-quarters of the group that they're smuggling Bibles into a foreign country where Christianity is banned. They have to hide their Bibles in their clothes and transport them to a location marked by a lit flashlight, which you've hidden, representing the missionary church. The only catch is there are border guards and police patrolling the area -- roles assumed by the rest of the campers. Tell the "guards" that when they catch a camper, they should question him about the gospel message, asking questions like "What are you carrying?" "What is a Bible?" "Who is this Jesus?" Campers are sent to jail for wrong or inadequate answers or lying. If they explain the message well, then they are released. Once a camper delivers her Bibles to the church, she can return to the starting point to get more Bibles.

Shrinking Life Raft

Tell the group you have good and bad news. The bad news is that they've been ship-wrecked in shark-infested waters. The good news is that they have a life raft -- represented by a large blanket. After everyone is standing on the life raft, say, "I forgot one thing. This life raft shrinks." Have everyone get off the blanket, fold it in half, then instruct everyone to get back on. Continue to fold the blanket in half, and teens will become more creative in getting the entire group to fit. After the game, say, "The church is like a life raft. We want everyone to get on, but sometimes it's hard work and we have to get creative."

Bad Balloons

Blow up 50 balloons. On one half, write phrases that bring a person closer to God. On the other half, write phrases that draw a person away from God. Divide the group into two teams on either side of a line. The game starts when leaders throw good and bad balloons equally on each side of the line. Teens determine if the balloons are good or bad by reading them. They want to keep good balloons on their side and throw bad balloons on the other team's side. Stop after all balloons have been in play for a few minutes. Groups get one point for good balloons and negative one point for bad balloons. Say, "We only have a limited number of years to live, so we have to throw out the bad stuff in our lives immediately, just like you did with the balloons."

Back to Back

Tell teens to pair up and sit on the ground back to back with their partner. The goal is for each pair to stand straight up without using their hands. When a pair stands up successfully, add a third person. Keep adding one person every time a group stands up. It can be accomplished with groups as large as 20. Afterward, ask, "How did you communicate with your group?" and "What was harder about having a bigger group?" Use this as an analogy for Christians helping each other get back up after falling into sin, rather than criticizing them or pushing them down.

Cool Birthday Ideas For Men

A cherished birthday gift does not need to be expensive.

If you are unsure of what to buy your male friend for his birthday, consider his interests. Whatever it is that he enjoys, there is sure to be something you could buy that would complement it. The gift does not need to be expensive. Something as simple as a computer accessory could be a cherished gift if it is something that makes his life easier or more enjoyable.

Beer Gifts

If the man in your life likes beer, then you are in luck. There are many unique gifts for a beer lover, such as a yearly subscription to a beer newspaper or magazine, home beer brewing kit and accessories or a membership to a "beer of the month club." You could also consider taking your friend on a walking tour of a distillery. For a gag gift, consider buying him a breathalyzer.

Fitness Products

Thousands of fitness products are available. If the man you are shopping for likes working out at home, you could buy him a sit-up bench, pull-up bar, weights, personalized water bottle, exercise equipment or a fitness book or DVD. If he is health-focused, you could put together a gift bag filled with multi-vitamins, protein powder and a nutritional cookbook. If he is an avid runner he might like a pedometer, leg weights, running shoes or an MP3 player with an arm strap.

Sports Games

If the man you are shopping for loves sports, consider a gift that allows him to play that sport at home. For example, you could buy a golf lover a mini-putt game for the home, a basketball player a backyard hoop or a garbage bin with a hoop opening or a tennis player a mini table tennis game.

Personalized Gift Basket

If you are looking for a more personalized gift, consider something that the birthday boy loves and create a gift basket using that idea. For example, if people joke that he is addicted to his mobile phone, you could create a basket with a Bluetooth head set or wireless ear buds, phone cases, FM transmitter for playing mobile phone music over the radio and a bar of chocolate shaped like a mobile phone. Alternatively, if he spends all his free time playing video games, you could make a basket full of games and accessories.

Military Camps For Teens In California

Learning respect is a key component of military boot camps.

Today's teens often are technologically advanced, smart and independent. Unfortunately, even the smartest kids can get caught up in the wrong crowd or become involved in situations that threaten their futures. Parents who have tried discipline, counseling and just about everything else often turn to military boot camps to try to instill a sense of responsibility and respect in their teens. The state of California offers several options.

Camp Recovery

For a teen who needs to focus on overcoming an addiction, the Camp Recovery facility offers a 12-step recovery plan. The focus of the program is building self-esteem and keeping a highly structured environment. There is a special area for kids who need to detox, and a professional nursing staff is on duty. The camp offers options for full-time or part-time care.

Odyssey Wilderness Programs

Odyssey is located in Joshua Tree, near Palm Springs. The camp employs a wilderness therapy approach, using positive reinforcement and experiences to build confidence in teens. A field therapist is assigned to help support the family unit while the teen is at the camp. The therapist also works to strengthen the family and help the child understand how best to transition back to his normal life after the program ends.

Camp Wilmont Sweeney

The state of California runs this program in San Leandro for kids who have been in serious trouble. It is an alternative to detention in a more formal penal institution. Stays can range from a few months to a few years. The facility is for nonviolent teens, whose activities are monitored at all times. Campers are provided with counseling and activities to foster a sense of self worth. Parental management classes are offered to help the entire family.

Outward Bound

Outward Bound offers several programs for at-risk teens. The program features four levels of programs. Intercept is designed to help inspire youth ages 12 to 17 who are not in serious trouble but might be showing signs that they will make poor decisions in the future. FINS is a program for teens and their families that is intended to encourage positive behavior in children. STEP is a more intensive program and is meant to rehabilitate teens instead of placing them in the juvenile detention system. Delta Centers are short-term, half-day events held in communities throughout the country that include wilderness training, service projects and family mediation.

Chemicals In Paintballs

Paintballs are made up of several different chemicals.

Paintball is a popular outdoor sporting activity. Players compete on a mock battlefield and shoot each other with special guns that deliver a ball-shaped pellet full of paint to its target. There are several chemicals used in the manufacture of paintballs. While most paintballs are labeled as non-toxic, some of the ingredients can have adverse reactions in animals if ingested.

Polyethylene Glycol & Gelatin

The pellets that hold the paint and give the paintball its shape are made out of a mixture of Polyethylene Glycol and Gelatin. Paintball manufacturers create the pellets in the same fashion that drug companies use to create medicine capsules. Polyethylene Glycol can have a diuretic effect on animals if ingested and cause PH levels in the blood to become toxic.

Glycerine

Glycerine is used as a thickening agent in the paintballs. It also prevents the paintballs from freezing which is essential since paintball is a popular winter activity in many parts of the world.

Ground Pig Skin Powder

One of the best-kept secrets in paintball manufacturing is the use of ground pigskin powder in the creation of paintballs. The powder helps to keep the liquid ingredients inside the paint ball from separating to retain the vibrancy of the paintball color.

Sorbitol

Moisture inside the pellet is regulated by the addition of sorbitol to prevent the liquid ingredients from drying out. It also increases the shelf life of the paintball.

Dye

Non-toxic food grade dyes are used to color the liquid ingredients of the paintball to create the "paint" encapsulated in the pellet.

Break In An Rxp

Jet skis require proper maintenance, especially when they are brand new.

The RXP is a jet ski, or Sea-Doo, manufactured by Bombardier. If you recently purchased this product, you are probably eager to hit the water and take it for a test run. However, it is extremely important that you curb your enthusiasm a little. This watercraft requires a break-in period, a small window of time where you cannot operate the vehicle at full speed. It is the same concept as warming up before you exercise. Failure to warm up can result in strains or injuries. The same applies for an RXP.

Instructions

1. Pour five gallons of gasoline and 16 ounces of Bombardier Rotax injection oil into the fuel tank, then fill the tank completely.

2. Operate the engine. Once you are on the water, cruise and accelerate intermittently. Do not exceed three-fourths throttle.

3. Continue the break-in process for 10 hours. This does not have to be done in a single stretch. Keep track of your sessions until they total 10 hours.

Camouflage Your Gun

With the popularity of hunting in the US on the rise, firearms have become a large market share of purchases in the sporting goods world. With the demand for better outdoor equipment and more stealth in hunting, camouflaging of guns has become a big business. We will examine some of the high and low tech options for camouflaging your weapons. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Options for camouflaging for your gun

1. Wrap the gun in woodland camouflage tape. Make sure that the sights and optics are no hindered. Wrap only one layer around the barrel and the stock. Seal it with a safety pin or with the clips that some tape manufacturers supply. This tape will be reusable and should be bought in a pattern that will mimic where you intend to hunt. This is the simplest way to camouflage your gun.

2. Spread out the strips of digital woodland fabric in a length about the same as your gun. With a scissor, cut a small hole at the top of each one. Taking a tie wrap, thread 3-4 pieces onto the black tie wrap and secure the wrap around the barrel of your gun tightly at 2 inch intervals. You can do the same for the thin end of the butt stock. When you are heading out and in position for your hunting, you can move these camouflage strips around the gun to break up the shape of the gun and cover any reflection the barrel may have. This is a slightly more in depth way to camouflage your gun.

3. Assemble the strips of burlap close together on a disposable tarp. Using the cans of spray paint, randomly pattern different colorations across the burlap. Make sure there is no real discernible pattern on it. This will break up the shape of the gun. Take each strip after they have dried and tie them at irregular intervals around the barrel of the gun, allowing them to flow downward freely. These will be the basis of your gun camouflage. Make sure that the colorations you paint on the burlap will match the surrounding areas you will be using your gun in. These need to have a haphazard look as they will blend in more. This is the same technique the military uses for snipers to camouflage their weapons and uniforms.

Homemade Military Helmet Liners

Homemade Military Helmet Liners

Making helmet liners for military troops is a great way to show your support for the men and women serving overseas. Helmet liners are caps that pull down to cover the wearer's head, neck, mouth and nose and have a large opening across the front at eye level. They provide warmth and comfort without obstructing view.

Technique

Helmet liners can be knitted or crocheted. Links to patterns for both techniques can be at skeinlane.com (see Resources). It is important to follow the gauge correctly to ensure that the helmet liners fit properly, as they will be worn under tight-fitting helmets.

Yarn

It is imperative the only 100-percent wool yarn be used to make helmet liners. This is a safety issue. Cotton yarn is very flammable, and acrylic yarn will melt when exposed to flame. Wool yarn smolders, but it won't burst into flames. For comfort, choose a wool yarn that is soft, not scratchy. The yarn color should be appropriate for the military, such as black, brown, tan, gray or olive.

Wool yarn labeled "superwash" has been treated to prevent shrinking and felting, a process during which the yarn fibers become very tight and compacted after laundering. For the convenience of troops, use superwash yarn if possible.

Care Label

Attach a care label to your helmet liner. If the liner was made using superwash wool, it can be machine-washed in warm water and tumble-dried on low. If it is wool yarn other than superwash, it must be gently hand-washed in lukewarm water and laid out flat on a towel to dry. The wet liner can be squeezed and rolled in a towel to remove excess water, but never wrung.

Distribution

If you are making just one helmet liner for a certain individual, contact that person to find out where it should be sent.

If you are making many helmet liners, perhaps as a group project, contact a military office or base in your area for instructions regarding where and ship them overseas for distribution. To avoid having to ship them, the helmet liners could be given to troops before they are deployed.

Many yarn shops across the national also have become involved in helmet-liner projects. Call around to see if you can join a local group that is making and distributing helmet liners.

Paint A Bicycle Tire

Black bike tire

Most bicycle tires come in a standard black color, while others may have a whitewall color to the sides of the tires. In any case, bike tires can be colored any color that is desired. The colors can match the bike or be painted to create a design. Krylon fusion spray paint for plastic works best on the rubber tires and can be found in craft or hardware stores. With a few simple steps, you can have painted bike tires to stand out amongst other riders.

Instructions

1. Remove the wheels from the bike. Unscrew the metal lever that holds the wheels into place for the front and back wheel. Deflate the tires by removing the air cap and pressing on the air valve with your finger. Take the tires off of the wheels.

2. Remove the inner tube from the bike tire. Pull the tube out gently and place it aside until the tire has been painted and dried.

3. Mask the tire treads around each tire. This will prevent any paint from being sprayed onto this part. Paint that is coated on the treads might cause less traction, so it is best that only the sidewalls of the tires are painted.

4. Paint the bike tire inside a garage away from direct sunlight. Spray the Krylon Fusion paint around the sidewalls of the tire by holding the spray can six inches from the tire. This type of paint should be used because it is resistant to cracking on rubber and plastic surfaces. Only one coat of paint is needed.

5. Let the first paint coat dry for twenty-four hours. To add a design on the tires, use a paint stick, or paint pen. The paint stick will allow you to neatly draw designs on the tires. Let the designs dry for another twenty-four hours.

6. Insert the rubber tubes back into each tire. Inflate the tires using an air compressor and place the tires back on the bike.

Make A Tippmann A5 Louder

The sound of a loud paintball gun can be intimidating.

You can make a Tippmann A-5 paintball gun louder, but there are not many methods to accomplish this. Many methods may diminish the efficiency or the performance of the Tippmann A-5. Some may even make the gun dangerous to use. Modifying the barrel of the Tippmann A-5 is a safe and easy way to make each paintball shot louder. Loss of performance and efficiency will be minimal.

Instructions

1. Remove the air source and all paintballs from the Tippmann A-5. It is dangerous to modify a paintball gun while it is loaded.

2. Remove the barrel from the Tippmann A-5. Simply grab the barrel with one hand and the paintball gun with the other and twist to remove. Set the Tippmann A-5 to the side.

3. Wrap the outside of the barrel with electrical tape. Be sure to cover all of the little holes on the sides. These holes, called ports, are designed to make the Tippmann A-5 quieter. When air travels through the barrel it can escape through the ports, which results in less sound when the paintball is forced out of the end of the barrel. Reattach the barrel to the gun once it is wrapped in electrical tape.
