Convert Robogear To Warhamer 40k

Robogear is a tabletop miniatures game set in the far future in which machines of war include walking tanks with heavy artillery. The game is heavily influenced by Warhammer 40,000, one of the oldest and most successful science-fiction tabletop wargames. However, unlike Warhammer 40,000, Robogear achieved little success and is no longer supported in the United States. Robogear models resemble the units of the Imperial Guard, and if a hobbyist does not want to invest in expensive Warhammer 40,000 figurines, he or she can use Robogear models for casual play.

Instructions

1. Organize the Robogear miniatures into three groups: infantry, vehicles and walking tanks. Infantry and vehicles have different point values and roster associations in the Warhammer 40,000 rules.

2. Use the Robogear infantry units to represent the Imperial Guard Cadian Shock Troops. The Robogear infantry units resemble the Cadian Shock Troops, which, aside from an elaborate back story, are basic foot soldiers in an Imperial Guard army.

3. Use the Robogear vehicles to represent Imperial Guard tanks and aircraft. The Varan and Helix can be used as Manticore Missile Launchers, the Hurricane for a Hydra Flak Tank and the Demolisher for a Leman Russ Battle Tank. The flying vehicles Sprut and Thunder can be used for Valkyrie Assault Carriers.

4. Use the Robogear walking tanks to represent Imperial Guard Sentinels. The Sentinels of the Imperial Guard are bipedal vehicles bearing heavy weapons. The Robogear T-Rex, Gryphon, Werewolf, Salamander, Raptor, Locust, Spider and Mad Bull walking tanks can be used as Sentinels.

5. Create a basic Imperial Guard army using the Robogear miniatures under Warhammer 40,000 rules. Every Imperial Guard army requires a headquarters (HQ) squad and two Troop squads. The HQ squad includes a commander with four veteran soldiers and has a base value of 50 points. A Troop squad has 10 soldiers and is also worth 50 points. Overall, a basic Imperial Guard army has at least 25 units divided into three squads.

6. Expand the army until it meets the point value of the battle. Typical Warhammer 40,000 battles involve armies between 500 to 1,000 points. An Imperial Guard army can be expanded to include an extra HQ unit, four Troop squads, three Elite squads, three Fast Attack squads and three Heavy Support squads. Sentinels and Valkyries fall within Fast Attack while the tanks count toward Heavy Support. Consult the Imperial Guard army codex for further equipment options and point values.

The Types Of Guns In Halo 3

Halo 3 is a blockbuster game for the Xbox gaming system. As the Master Chief and his allies complete the levels of the game, he will encounter many guns of Human and Covenant manufacture. Here are the tools he will need to complete his mission and save humanity from annihilation.

UCNS Assault Rifle

This is the weapon the Earth forces start the game with. It may not be the most formidable weapon, but it is reliable and can be used as a club when a player runs out of ammunition.

Plasma Rifle

This long range covenant weapon shoots far and does a lot of damage. This will be the weapon that the master chief uses most frequently, unless the player prefers the plasma pistol.

Plasma Pistol

This weapon operates the same way as the plasma rifle, except it has a lower range. Its chief advantage over the plasma rifle is that it can be dual-wielded.

Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer

These are the melee weapons used by the Covenant. They are not favored by UNCS military personnel, although they can do a lot of damage if wielded correctly.

Spartan Laser

This is a new addition to the game that helps give the Human defenders the edge that they need to win against the Covenant armada.

Rocket Launcher

This weapon needs little description. The rocket launcher fires a missile that has an area of affect rockets at enemy positions.

How Clean Paintballs Off My Car

Paintballs can be a real hassle to remove from your car if you don't know what types of cleaner to use.

Whether you were a victim of vandalism or you were just unfortunate enough to park your car too close to the game, paintball splatters on a car can cause some major stress. Many paintballs are oil-based, making them more difficult to remove using water pressure alone. And if you're unsure of which cleaners are acceptable to use on car paint without damaging it, you'll lose precious time trying to figure it out while the paint settles in and becomes harder to remove. Luckily, there are a few tips you can follow to ensure that the paintball paint gets completely removed from your car easily and without hassle.

Instructions

1. Add some mild dish soap to a bucket as you fill it with warm water.

2. Dip a cleaning pad, such as a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, into the mixture and firmly swipe it across the paint splatter. Rinse all traces of paint from the cleaning pad immediately to avoid spreading the oily residue around. Continue removing the paint, remembering to rinse the pad every time.

3. Use a petroleum-based water displacing spray, such as WD-40, on paint splatters that have been left to sit on your car for longer periods of time, or that don't get completely removed from the soap mixture.

4. Buff the area dry immediately using a terrycloth towel or some other soft material that won't damage your car's paint.

Remove Paintball Paint From Stucco

If you have teenagers in your neighborhood, you might find yourself having to clean paintball stains from your house. This can be especially difficult if you have a house covered in stucco, which has a texture that makes it difficult to wipe or brush clean. You'll have to use a pressure washer with water to remove the paintball paint. If you don't own a pressure washer, you can rent one from a hardware or home improvement store. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Open the pressure washer, fill the tank with water, and close the lid.

2. Turn on the pressure washer, and adjust it to the lowest pressure possible.

3. Point the water stream at the paintball paint stain. This will gradually weaken the paint's hold on the stucco and will eventually remove it. If it does not, carefully turn up the pressure. Do not raise the pressure above 1500 psi (pounds per square inch), because this might crack the stucco.

4. Continue spraying the paintball paint until you have removed all the stain.

5. Let the stucco air-dry.

List Of The Most Advanced Automatic Guns

There are many types of extremely advanced weaponry.

Guns serve as a double-edged sword; although extremely dangerous, they are also a protection device. A fully automatic gun is a firearm which automatically reloads and fires again after it releases a round of ammunition. This cycle continues while the trigger remains pressed, provided that there is a steady supply of ammunition. Lightweight, fully-automatic firearms have been available to civilians since the 1920s. In the U.S., a federal license is required for ownership of an automatic weapon.

Auto-Assault 12 Shotgun

Abbreviated "AA-12," this gun finds its roots in the Atchisson Assault Shotgun, a firearm first developed in 1972 by Maxwell Atchisson, and refined and redesigned for 18 years by Military Police Systems, Inc., producing what is now the world's deadliest shotgun. Using the constant-recoil principle and a quick-change barrel system, it can fire up to 300 rounds in one minute and operates with several types of ammunition, including the highly explosive FRAG-12. It is durable, can withstand below-zero temperatures and saltwater and even works when fired upside down.

Heckler & Koch HK416

Built as a replacement for M4 carbines and M16 rifles, the HK416 borrows the patented gas-piston system from the HK G36 rifle and unites it with M16 basics, resulting in a reliable, long-firing weapon fit for military use. Heckler & Koch gun tests have proven it capable of firing around 10,000 rounds of ammunition on full automatic fire without jamming. The HK416 also boasts a new buffer assembly, improved bolt, and a free-floating hand guard, making it more ergonomic and easy to handle.

Heckler & Koch MP7

PDWs -- or Personal Defense Weapons -- are designed for military personnel who normally do not carry assault rifles. NATO guidelines limit PDWs to the use of conventional pistol cartridges. Regular pistols and submachine guns are incapable of penetrating body armor. To address this, the HK MP7 was built, uniting the action of a scaled-down HK G36 assault rifle with the layout and size of a typical compact submachine gun. The gun can be fired one-handed like a pistol, and uses special 4.6x30 mm high-velocity ammunition, which easily penetrates CRISAT body armor, even at 200 meters.

Fabrique Nationale Special Operations Forces Assault Rifle

The design for the FN SCAR was handpicked from a dozen proposals from arms manufacturers worldwide, submitted in response to a 2003 search for a modular, multi-caliber weapons system. The SCAR weapons system has stood through over two million rounds of ammunition in urban, jungle and maritime operations tests. The SCAR family comes in two classes: "light" for 5.56x45 mm, and "heavy" for 7.62x51 mm NATO chamberings. SCAR firearms, leagues ahead of their competitors in terms of versatility and adaptability, allow the use of a variety of cartridges and optional equipment of different makes and models without altering the actual weapon's controls layout, handling and maintenance.

Endless War 3 Cheats

Endless War 3 Cheats

"Endless War 3" is a fast-paced and frenetic top-down shoot-em-up set during World War 2. The game ports over all weapons and items from previous Endless War titles and adds wave upon wave of enemies to gun down before they take you out. It can be very hard to get ahead in later levels of Endless War 3, but some cheats exist to help you through.

Super Weapons in Combat

Endless War 3 offers several Super Weapons above and beyond the regular guns. There are cheat codes that carry over from Endless War 1 and 2 that can be used to access the game's Super Weapons. In a mission, press and hold the "Z," "L" and "T" keys to access the Minigun, a hugely powerful automatic weapon that will mow down opposing troops. To activate the Super Shotgun, a high-powered scatter gun that will neutralize large groups, press and hold the "X," "H" and "I" keys during play. To activate the Rocket Launcher and fire highly-damaging explosives at your enemies from a safe distance, hold down the "Y," "M" and "P" keys.

Weapon Combining Secret

Much of the most powerful cheating in Endless War 3 is to be done by exploiting the game's weapon system to combine weapons. Due to a hidden quirk of the game's reloading mode, there are several ways to combine two weapons that can form a third, far more powerful weapon. A long-range flamethrower with autofire can be acquired by picking up the minigun and flaregun. Select the flare gun as your second weapon, hold the "R" key, and press "1" to select the minigun. Release "1" just as the minigun appears to create the flamethrower. Pick up the Death's Scythe special weapon as your primary weapon and any secondary weapon with a high rate of fire. Select the second weapon and hold "R." Press "1" to choose the usually limited-use Death's Scythe. You will now have infinite death-dealing bullets. Experiment with other combinations to exploit this secret to the full. Note that if you pick up or select another weapon, you will have to perform the exploit again.

Unlock All Guns

Success or failure in Endless War 3 often hinges on having the right gun for the job. Luckily there is a secret way to unlock all guns before beginning the game. Go into Endless War 3's "Options" screen and click the mysterious gray ball. Do not do anything else in the Options menu; select "Save settings" and exit the screen. You will now have access to all weapons.

About Diablo Paintball Guns

Diablo is a brand of paintball equipment that is well known for its line of mid-level priced automatic and semi-automatic paintball guns. They have several models of guns, also called markers, which vary in skill level, range, and size. Diablo paintball guns are also renowned for their sleek design and visual aesthetics.

Significance

All the Diablo paintball gun models are known for their light and sensitive ammunition triggers. Most paintball guns require the user to push the trigger down with considerable force to elicit the firing response, however the Diablo models react with little pressure, allowing the user to respond quickly to opponents. This feature compliments the other distinctive attribute of Diablo guns, accuracy, making them a favorite choice for paintball enthusiasts.

Features

One of the most popular marker models offered by Diablo is the Diablo Mongoose, a popular beginner's gun that features a LCD visual screen, four firing modes, a shot counter, and an adjustable rate of fire. It can fire paintballs at a rate of thirteen balls per second, and like all Diablo models is respected for its accurate shooting abilities. Unlike some paint guns, the Mongoose does not destroy paintballs in the firing chamber, and can be taken apart for travel or storage quickly.

Considerations

The real jewel in the Diablo catalogue is the Diablo Wrath, an aluminum based marker that can shoot at a rate of up to twenty balls per second and can function in automatic or semi-automatic mode. The entire gun weighs less than two pounds, and Diablo has created an entire line of upgrade options to enhance the marker, such as grips, trigger enhancements and decorative decals. Like the Mongoose, the Wrath boasts a LCD display screen and quick disassembly.

Effects

Diablo paintball guns share the market with companies like Spyder, Tippmann, WGP, and Dye, all of whom are well known in the paintball industry. While these companies enjoy committed consumer niches, such as weekend players, club players and tournament players, Diablo's market earns distinction as it spans from entry-level players to advanced enthusiasts, making it one of the most widely used companies in the industry.

Benefits

Part of Diablo's consumer success is born from reasonable prices and stellar warranty. Most of Diablo's models range in cost from just under one hundred dollars to a little more than two hundred dollars, which is the mid-level price point for markers. Also, all Diablo's guns come with a lifetime warranty. If a gun is having a problem, the customer can return it to the nearest Diablo factory where it will be fixed and returned.

Make Your Goggles Antifog

See Clearly no Matter What the Weather

Nothing is worse than having your protective goggles fog up as you are trying to stay the course and remain safe. There are many products on the market that work well as anti-fog coatings and even more expensive pre-treated anti-fog goggles you can buy. However, you can easily make your own anti-fog coating for pennies that will work on all types of goggles except swimming or underwater ones.

Instructions

1. Peel the end of your potato, about 1 to 2 inches is enough. Leave enough skin on the potato so you can firmly hold it.

2. If you have used your goggles before, clean the lenses with water and a soft cloth. Then let them dry before proceeding.

3. Rub the peeled potato on both sides of the surface of your lenses. Completely cover the lens surface. The film from the potato will become your anti-fog coating.

4. Set the goggles aside and let them dry. This will usually take about twenty minutes to an hour.

5. Using a clean, soft cloth (lens cloth or a piece of t-shirt), buff the lenses until you can see through them clearly.

6. Repeat this process every two to three weeks to ensure that the anti-fog coating on your goggles remains in good condition. Wash and dry the lenses of your goggles first before reapplying the potato film.

Clean Your Gun After Shooting

Clean the firearm after each shooting session.

After each shooting session with your firearm, the weapon should be cleaned. This cleaning entails wiping out the inside of the barrel with a special tool made for the task. In addition, the exterior of the firearm needs to be wiped down. Any exposed gun metal needs a coating of gun oil to prevent rust from developing on the weapon. Handle every firearm like it is loaded to prevent injury or death.

Instructions

1. Open the firearm chamber and remove all ammunition. Check that no rounds are in the chamber and place the firearm's safety to "On."

2. Place the firearm into the barrel vise -- a special vise that holds rifles in a cradle -- or place a piece of chamois cloth on each side of a bench vise and tighten the firearm until secure.

3. Thread a wipe into the slit at the end of the cleaning tool -- a long device much a like chimney sweep but sized for firearm barrels. Pour a few drops of the gun solvent onto the wipe and push the wipe down into the barrel and pull back up. Push and pull the wipe through the barrel several times to remove accumulated cordite.

4. Pour some gun oil onto a new chamois cloth and wipe down the gunmetal on the firearm. Leave a light coat of the oil on the weapon then place the firearm into a locked storage container or safe.

Buy Clothes For Pms Bloat

Buy Clothes for PMS Bloat

Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS) involves a combination of symptoms that occur in women right before they get their period. Many women who suffer from PMS feel irritable, bloated and experience cramping. If you get PMS often, you may want to buy a set of clothes that you can wear during this time, so that you remain comfortable.

Instructions

1. Go to a discount store that sells athletic and casual clothing. You don't need to go to a high-end retailer to buy clothes that you are going to wear during your period.

2. Choose a size that is bigger than your normal size. Since you feel bloated with PMS, you need to buy roomy clothes. One size larger should be adequate.

3. Invest in a comfortable pair of sweatpants. Feel free to break out the sweatpants when you are suffering from PMS bloat. They are essential when you feel discomfort in your abdominal area.

4. Purchase granny panties. Although not the most fashionable choice, larger underwear keeps you comfortable and can be used in the case of period staining.

5. Look into comfortable socks and shoes. Many women also experience swelling in their extremities. Slip-on shoes are ideal for a woman who is dealing with PMS.

Information On Soft Air Pellet Guns

Soft air guns are used to train the military

Soft air, or airsoft guns, are not just a replica of the old fashioned bb gun. Airsoft guns do not use metal shot. Instead they use softer plastic beads that absorb the shock of impact. Airsoft guns are also designed to be exact replicas of high powered weapons. The look, dimensions and weight mimic real weapons, adding realism to the airsoft experience.

History

Soft air guns were developed in Japan 30 years ago. Japan's gun ban made sport shooting illegal. Gun collectors lost their possessions and gamers had to resort to video games. However, the law allowed for "toy" guns. So, entrepreneurs started manufacturing, low velocity toy guns that look exactly like lethal weapons. To distinguish the toys from the real thing, airsoft guns have an orange tip.

Varieties of Airsoft Guns

There are three different varieties of soft air guns. The first is spring loaded. As its name implies, this gun shoots a pellet with the power of a spring. Cocking the gun pulls the spring back and the trigger releases the power and propels the pellet out of the gun. This is the slowest velocity gun. The second type is gas powered. The gas powered gun uses CO2 or other gas cartridges to shoot the pellet. This method offers greater speed and accuracy than the spring loaded model, but the cost of cartridges can add up. The third type is the electric model. Rechargeable and fully automatic, these guns offer the highest velocity and accuracy and can mimic automatic weapons.

Gaming

Airsoft guns were originally designed for gaming. Like paintball, these guns fire soft projectiles at a low speed. This makes them safer than the old fashioned BB guns. Teams all over the world hold airsoft combat games. Airsoft is rapidly overtaking paintball as the combat game of choice because of its realism.

Other Uses

Soft air guns are also used in a variety of other ways. Because of their realism and safety, airsoft guns are the weapons of choice in military and police training. Prop-masters remove the orange tip and have realistic replicas that are capable of blank shots. Farmers and homeowner feel confident using airsoft pellets in the yard. The low velocity and soft pellets discourage deer, foxes and other large animals, without causing any real damage.

Safety Concerns

Soft air guns are safer than BB guns, but they are not without risk. At close range, pellets are dangerous. They can cause bruising. The pellets are small enough to lodge in eyes and ears. Even with the orange tab, they can be mistaken for real weapons. When playing combat games players must wear appropriate safety gear. Goggles, padding and headgear are needed. Games need to be played in designated areas, so that no one's fun is mistaken for danger.

Airsoft Guns and Children

Thousands of children play with airsoft guns everyday and airsoft injuries are rare. But there are many factors to consider before purchasing a soft air gun for a child. Gamers shoot airsoft guns at people. With zero tolerance, airsoft guns are completely prohibited on school property.

What Are The Best Airsoft Co2 Machine Guns

Many Airsoft guns are based on real weapons.

Airsoft is a fun and challenging hobby in which players use replica weapons that shoot plastic pellets. The sport began in Japan, where people wanted realistic weapons but could not own firearms due to strict gun laws. It has since spread to the west and is used in military and police training exercises as well as for recreation. Airsoft guns come in many shapes and sizes, but many players opt for fully automatic guns due to their high rate of fire and relative accuracy. While most automatic Airsoft weapons have an electric motor, some use CO2 gas to fire the pellets.

H&K 416 Elite Airsoft Machine Gun

The H&K 416 is a fully automatic machine gun with a metal receiver, realistic blowback action, and an adjustable metal sight. The gun is made mostly out of metal and weighs in at 7.70 pounds, with an overall length of 34.80 inches. It can hold up to 35 rounds of 6 millimeter, 0.2-0.25 gram ammo, and has a maximum fire velocity of 410 feet per second. The H&K 416 is priced at roughly $400.

HFC SD203 Gas Submachine Gun

The HFC SD203 is a gas-powered Airsoft gun that resembles an Uzi submachine gun. It includes a mock suppressor, orange muzzle for safety identification and a tool to assist in loading Airsoft pellets. The gun fires 0.20 gram Airsoft pellets at roughly 300 feet per second and has a total magazine capacity of 40 shots. The HFC SD203 also boasts and adjustable hop-up system to help give your shots more distance and greater accuracy. The HFC SD203 is priced at just over $100.

Classic Army Vulcan M134-A2 Minigun

If total devastation of your target is your objective, consider the Vulcan minigun. Made entirely out of metal and modeled off the real-life heavy weapon, the fully automatic Vulcan is more 37.5 inches long, weighs more than 30 pounds and fires up to 550 feet per second. It holds 2,000 rounds and uses 0.20 gram ammo. The Vulcan requires both a 12v battery and a CO2 cartridge to fire. Expect to pay at least $2,700 for a Vulcan.

Paint A Motorcycle To Look Like A Military One

Military vehicles and equipment are camouflaged.

Military motorcycles are painted with camouflage to help them blend into the background. However, commercial motorcycles are rarely painted in military colors, so your paint job will make you stand out from the crowd. Typical military camouflage includes colors such as dark green, light brown and sandy yellow. Painting the motorcycle yourself is simple but time-consuming. It is possible to pay for a professional paint job, but it will be more costly than doing it on your own.

Instructions

1. Use garbage bags to cover any parts of your motorcycle you do not want to paint. This includes all metal parts of your motorcycle. Leave the garbage bags on until your paint job is finished, and be aware that the steps apply to the uncovered parts that you want to paint.

2. Sand down the parts of the motorcycle you intend to paint using sandpaper. This removes old paint in preparation for a new coat.

3. Paint your motorcycle with dark green enamel using a large paintbrush, ensuring all the parts are completely covered. Let this coat of paint dry for at least four hours. Test the dryness of the paint with your finger before applying a second coat of dark green enamel that fully covers all parts. Allow the second coat to dry for at least four hours.

4. Use a smaller paintbrush to paint circles with pale yellow enamel, with 2 inches of space between each circle. The circles should all be a similar size and evenly spaced. It does not matter if some circles run off the side of the parts you are painting. Still using the pale yellow enamel, paint irregular edges on the circles to turn them into splat-like shapes. Ensure that no dark green paint is visible through the pale yellow shapes. Let this coat of paint dry at least four hours.

5. Use light brown enamel to paint evenly spaced circles that are half the size of your the yellow circles. Leave 6 inches of space between each circle before painting irregular edges on each circle as you did in the previous step. Let this coat of paint dry at least four hours.

6. Seal your paint by spraying enamel sealer on all painted parts of the motorcycle. Spray sealer from a distance of at least 10 inches and cover the paint evenly. Allow the sealer to dry overnight before removing the garbage bags from the motorcycle.

Camouflage Paintball Gear

Camouflage will render paintball gear much harder to detect out on the paintball range. It may not make it impossible to see, but it will add a few seconds onto the time a player has before an opponent sees him and takes aim.

Instructions

1. Use camouflage outfits and vests instead of any other color. If the gear is camouflaged but your clothing stands out, the camouflage won't be of much use. Be sure to keep accessories, like belts and shoes, camouflaged or in neutral colors like dark brown that will blend into the surroundings.

2. Buy a ghillie suit to cover yourself and your gear, or make one from netting and strips of camouflage fabric. Make it large enough that you can fit your head and paintball gun beneath it.

3. Get your paintball gun professionally painted at a pro shop. They can paint it in the specific type of camouflage colors that you need, depending on the environment you play in. If you can't afford to have it painted, cover your gun with camouflage tape.

4. Cover the edges of your mask with camouflage tape. Be sure to keep the tape on the colored plastic and avoid covering any part of the clear portions. If your mask has ventilation holes in the sides, poke a few holes through the sides to keep the inside of the mask from overheating and fogging up the glass.

5. Drape the end of the paintball gun in twigs and leaves from the surrounding environment. Even if the gun is already painted or taped, the natural cover will make it less obvious to the enemy.

Surviving An Emp Attack

In the event of an EMP attack, electrical towers like these would be of no use.

An EMP is an electromagnetic pulse, which can disable electrical devices and electricity generating facilities. An EMP attack would most likely come in the form of a nuclear explosion in the atmosphere. This would disable all electronics, from appliances to computers to cars, over a vast area.

A nuclear warhead launched off the coast of the United States into the atmosphere above could have a devastating ripple effect and knock out the power to most, if not all, of America. All electronic devices would be fried and unusable. An EMP attack has been referred to as a continental time machine which would send us back in time technologically to the 1800s.

Preparedness

Practical emergency storage items include water, food, alternate cooking and heating sources, batteries and candles. These items will aid in survival for many different emergency scenarios, including an EMP attack. A three-month pantry supply is a good start. Alternate cooking methods can include a gas or charcoal grill and a dutch or solar oven. Plenty of wood storage is important for burning in a fireplace or wood stove, in case of attack during the cold months. A battery operated radio, with battery storage, will help keep you informed.

Survival and Prevention

There are several ways to try and protect yourself from the possibility of an EMP attack. It is possible to ground important electronic equipment. This would hopefully guide the power surge from the attack harmlessly into the earth. For example, a vehicle can be grounded by a chain attached to the vehicle frame or trailer hitch. Provided the chain is resting on conductive ground at the time of the attack, the chain may protect the vehicle's computerized parts from being damaged.

Nerf Dart Gun Games

Many children love nerf guns, but they can be fun for adults too!

Nerf guns can provide hours of fun for children, but this fun can be easily multiplied through the use of organized games. Safe, fun, supervised games ensure that players can enjoy themselves without experiencing the chaos of an all-out nerf gun war. Organized nerf gun games are also a great way to foster friendly competition and teamwork in young children.

Target Practice

Print out or draw a target, and use tape to stick it to a wall. To make this game more fun, you can add different point values for different areas on the target, so that players have special areas to aim at. Players should stand in line and take turns shooting at the target from about ten yards away. Have one person sit to the side and record each participant's total score, based on the targets he hits. After each player takes five shots, total the scores and announce your winner.

Capture The Flag

For this game, you will need nerf guns, cones, two tennis balls, a medium-sized lawn, at least 6 participants, and one referee. Split the lawn down the middle using cones, Create a small square of cones about 3x3 feet at each end of the field (one square in each half). Place one tennis ball (this will be your "flag") in each of the squares. Split your participants into two teams of equal number; each team will have to defend its tennis ball while simultaneously attempting to steal the other team's ball. Players cannot shoot across the halfway line and cannot be shot in their own half of the field. However, if a player enters the other team's half, he may be shot at. If he is hit, he is "out" and must drop his weapon and move to the sideline. If he makes it to the square containing the flag, he is considered "safe" and cannot be shot as long as he is in this square. To receive one point, he must bring the tennis ball back to his side without getting shot. If all players on one team get tagged and are "out," the opposing team receives one point. The game ends when one team amasses five points.

Battleship

This game can be played with either two players or full teams. Split the field down the middle using cones. Team members may stand anywhere within their zone, but they must face opposite the other team (not being able to see the enemy is crucial to this game). Flip a coin to decide which team fires first. When it is the first team's turn to fire, all members of the opposing team must yell "battleship!". Using their ears, the first team must hit their opponents by firing their Nerf guns ONCE without turning around. Anybody who gets hit by a Nerf bullet (including by friendly fire!) is now out of the game. Once the first team is done firing, they are given ten seconds to move around within their zone as they please, as long as they continue to face away from the other team. Once the ten seconds are up, they must freeze and shout "battleship". The second team is given a chance to fire in the same fashion that the first team was. Repeat this procedure until all players on one side are eliminated, at which point the other team wins.

Places To Take Teenagers For Birthday Parties

It is very important to teenagers to have birthday parties that are considered cool to their friends. Simply staying at home, eating cake and playing games will probably not satisfy a teenager. Teens want to go out for a birthday party, and it has to be somewhere they like to go so the teenager's friends will have a good time. Does this Spark an idea?

Cosmic Bowling

Many bowling alleys have "midnight bowling" or "cosmic bowling." Games usually begin at midnight; the lights are turned down low; and there are strobe lights, laser lights and glow-in -the-dark bowling bowls that light up the alley. The bowling alley will play loud music for the teens to enjoy while they bowl. Cosmic bowling is a lot more fun than regular bowling, but it can also be more expensive.

Laser Tag

Many towns have a laser tag venue nearby. Two of the more popular laser tag facilities are Q-Zar and Laser Quest. For laser tag, each player wears a vest with laser sensors and carries a gun that shoots lasers. To "kill" an opponent, a player must shoot another player's sensors. Players will score points based on how many kills they get, how many times they are killed and how many times they attack the opponent's base. Some teenagers might like paintball, but laser tag is a much safer alternative. It is also more fun, because players are not eliminated when they are hit in laser tag, they just return to their base to recharge.

Pizza Arcade

Most teenagers enjoy pizza and video games, so an arcade that offers pizza is always a good place for a teen birthday party. It's a good idea to provide the party members with a set number of tokens to play the games. Some arcades will allow parties to reserve the entire arcade and allow the teens to have an unlimited number of games. If that option is not available or is too expensive, then at least provide the teenagers with five to 10 dollars in tokens.

Amusement Park

Amusement parks have fun rides, great shows, arcades and food. Most of the other options are only good for a few hours, but an amusement park trip can last an entire day. Amusement parks are expensive, especially if the party is large, but some amusement parks offer group rates and/or discounts for birthday parties.

Paintball Equipment

Paintball is a entertaining game of strategy and gamesmanship that can become a fast addiction. Before you get started some basic equipment is necessary, which can be purchased for anywhere between $200 for a lower-end gun and accompanying equipment to upwards of $2,000 for top-of-the-line setups. Equipment can also be rented at playing fields.

Types

Obviously, the first piece of equipment that any paintball player will need is a paintball gun, also called a marker. Guns use a pressurized air tank, generally carbon dioxide or nitrogen to fire paintballs. The main decision to be made when choosing a gun is whether you want a pump, a semi-automatic or a fully automatic. A pump is inexpensive, but it requires that you cock the gun every shot and can be inefficient during games. Certain game play allows only the use of a pump and some prefer the slower, more challenging style of play. A semi-automatic allows you to simply press the trigger and fire shot after shot. This is the most common type of gun and is a good all-around choice. A fully automatic allows you to fire a stream of shots by holding down the trigger. Rules of organized play may prohibit or restrict their use. Electronic paintball guns allow you to adjust the number of shots that you fire in a round and may include both semi-automatic and fully automatic modes.

Function

Next is pressurized air that provides the propellant to fire paintballs. The most common types are carbon dioxide and nitrogen. Carbon dioxide can be purchased in small 12-g cartridges or in larger tanks. Nitrogen is stored in tanks. Nitrogen tanks are considered preferable because they fire more reliably and uniformly. On the other hand, nitrogen is more expensive and difficult to upkeep than CO2. Carbon dioxide is widely available, inexpensive and easy to refill and maintain.

Prevention/Solution

A mask is an important safety precaution when playing any paintball game. Masks are designed specifically for paintball and have goggles to protect the eyes as well as plastic that protects the face. It's important to get a mask that fits comfortably without any pressure points, and provides full coverage of the face and good visibility. Masks should always be worn on the field of play.

Features

A container to hold paintballs allows for seamless firing without constant reloading. Containers come in various sizes, and rules of the specific game may limit how many paintballs that you play with. A hopper is a larger container that holds a lot of paintballs (50, 100, 200). Hoppers may either allow paintballs to drop into the gun manually or use a motor to induce motion into the gun. A tube is another type of container that looks like a plastic test tube and holds paintballs in a stacked, linear form. Tubes hold less paintballs than hoppers.

Effects

Of course, paintballs are a necessary part of the game. Small, plastic, paint-filled balls designed to shatter on impact, paintballs come in a variety of colors.

Considerations

Various accessories and tools are also available. A squeegee is a basic tool used to clean the barrel of a gun, particularly useful if a paintball explodes in the gun. Hoses are available as an alternative to a direct connection of air tank to gun, making the gun lighter and more maneuverable. Other accessories include paint grenades, sights and tubes to carry additional paintballs.

Significance

Paintball equipment can vary both by user preference, budget and style of play. Before purchasing any equipment, consider how seriously you'll play, what type of games that you intend to be involved in and how much money you have. For example, Stock Class is a discipline that has strict equipment rules: only pump guns are allowed, 12-g cartridges must be used instead of larger tanks and the gun can only hold 20 paintballs at a time. Knowing this ahead of time would clearly influence your equipment purchases.

Properly Use The Scba Cascade System

SCBAs allow firefighters to breathe in smoke-filled buildings.

Firefighters' self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) is probably their most vital piece of equipment to effectively and safely fight a fire inside a structure. The amount of air in the cylinder of the SCBA is directly related to the amount of time a firefighter can survive in a hostile environment of smoke, deadly gas or a low oxygen atmosphere. These bottles must always be filled to maximum capacity to allow the firefighter the maximum amount of time to work. Having full SCBA cylinders can also save the firefighters' lives if the become trapped or incapacitated. These cylinders are filled using a cascade filling station.

Instructions

1. Inspect the SCBA cylinder to be filled for any obvious damage, such as gouges in the outer surface, damaged threads at the hose connection, a damaged operating valve handle or severe scorching from heat. Check the hydrostatic test date of the cylinder to be filled. Aluminum and steel cylinders must be hydrostatic tested every five years and have an unlimited life span as long as they pass testing. Fiber-wrap-composite cylinders must be tested every three years and have a maximum life span of 15 years. Composite-carbon-fiber-wrapped cylinders must be tested every five years and have a 15 year maximum life span.

2. Check the cylinder pressures on the large bottles of the SCBA fill system to be used. The cascade system is usually made up of two to five large cylinders filled with compressed air.

3. Put on the gloves, protective eyewear and ear protection and release a short burst of air from both the cascade system and the cylinder to be filled to check for obstructions.

4. Connect the SCBA cylinder to the fill hose of the cascade system and hand-tighten the connection. The cylinder may be placed in a drum of water to keep it cool from the heat being generated by the pressurized air filling it or it may be "hot filled."

5. Open the large cylinder of the cascade system, then open the valve of the SCBA cylinder. The SCBA cylinder will fill only until the pressure of the two cylinders equalizes. If the pressures equalize and the SCBA cylinder isn't full, close the valve on the cascade cylinder and slowly open the next cylinder of the cascade system. Repeat the process of closing and opening the cascade cylinders until the SCBA cylinder reaches the proper pressure, as specified on the cylinder by the manufacturer.

6. Close the valves of both cylinders after the SCBA cylinder is full. Relieve the pressure in the fill line with the pressure relief valve and disconnect the SCBA cylinder. Log the SCBA cylinder's serial number, date filled and final pressure into the cascade system logbook.

Remove Anodizing Color

Scrub parts with an old toothbrush after stripping the surface.

Many car parts, paintball marker components and other aluminum items are anodized. Anodizing creates a protective oxide coating on aluminum objects, preventing corrosion and strengthening the surface. Anodizing can also be used to create a durable colored layer on the surface of a piece of aluminum. Over time, anodized finishes can fade. They may also develop scratches and nicks. In these cases, it may be best to remove the old finish so that you can re-anodize the piece.

Instructions

1. Clean the aluminum part thoroughly. Remove all dirt, grease and other contaminants with soap and water or a commercial cleaner. If the part is not clean, you may not be able to evenly strip the anodized surface.

2. Place the part in a nonreactive container, such as a disposable plastic bucket or glass baking tray. Do not use metal containers, which may react with the stripping agent.

3. Apply stripping agent. Spray the part evenly with oven cleaner, making sure all surfaces are covered, or combine water and household lye until the color on the parts lightens. You may see dye seeping away from the aluminum. Always add lye to water, not water to lye.

4. Wait for the finish to dissolve. If using oven cleaner, wait three minutes, then rinse the parts thoroughly, scrubbing with an old toothbrush. If using lye, wait approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the strength of the solution, then rinse the part in vinegar and scrub it. If any anodized finish remains, repeat the stripping process. Don't leave the stripping agent on too long, or you may pit the surface of the aluminum.

5. Rinse all parts in clean water. If the surface of the metal has become blackened from the stripping agent, polish it with a mild abrasive cleaner and a toothbrush. You may use the deanodized parts as-is, or re-anodize them.

Make Your Own Splatter Paint Shoes

Adding a paint design is an ideal way to revitalize tired old shoes that haven't been worn in a while. A splatter paint job provides forlorn looking footwear which are in otherwise good condition with an eye catching new color scheme. Splattering an old pair of shoes with paint is also an enormously satisfying experience that will re-invigorate your inner child. The important thing to remember is to prep the leather thoroughly beforehand, otherwise the paint will not adhere and will flake off. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Add a small amount of soap to some warm water and dip a cloth in it. Use the cloth to scrub the shoe, ensuring the surface you are planning to paint is entirely clean. Dry the shoe then use a nail file to take the shine off the leather. Do not damage the leather, but simply create a rough surface for the paint to adhere to.

2. Pour rubbing alcohol onto the cloth and rub all over the surface you want to paint. This will help clean the oil off the leather that will resist the paint. Run the nail file over the leather again to rough it up once more before painting.

3. Mix some water into some already water-based acrylic paint. This increases the flexibility of the paint and reduces the chances of it flaking off when the shoes are worn. Put the shoe on some newspaper and put masking tape over any areas of the shoe you do not want to splatter with paint.

4. Dip the stiff bristled brush into the water and paint mixture and hold it about six inches from the leather. Run your finger through the bristles towards you so that paint is flicked in the opposite direction, covering the shoe. Continue flicking paint until you decide to change color.

5. Put the brush down and flex the leather of the shoe a few times to prevent the paint drying and cracking. Then dip a brush into a different color and repeat, remembering to flex the leather after each coat. When you are happy with the shoe, leave it in a warm location to dry. During drying, return to the shoe and flex the leather every half an hour or so, to prevent cracking.

The other option is for the gun owner to sell the firearm to either a licensed gun dealer or sell or transfer the gun to a California police or sheriff's department.

Shotguns and Rifles

California law does not require new residents to report rifles or shotguns. However, firearm owners should know that certain types of rifles and shotguns are classified as assault weapons under California law. It is illegal to bring assault weapons into California under most circumstances.

LEGR

The California Law Enforcement Gun Release Program became effective on January 1, 2005. This law requires that anyone claiming ownership of a firearm that is in the possession of a law enforcement agency must file an application for the return of the firearm with the California Department of Justice. The department will run background check to determine if the individual is legally eligible to own a firearm. A written account of the results is then sent to the applicant .

Certification of Handguns

The manufacture or sale of handguns that have not passed firing and safety tests and are not certified for sale by the California Department of Justice is prohibited. The California Attorney General's website maintains a list of 1337 handguns which are approved for sale in the state. Private party transfers, collectible handguns and pawn shop returns are exempt from the law.

Refinish & Paint Fiberglass Boat Hulls

Help keep your boat lasting a long time.

Fiberglass boats can last a very long time, often up to 15 years. The gelcoat finish can wear off over time, however, and require you to refinish it to keep up its appearance and durability. Once you refinish the hull with fresh gelcoat, painting the boat can give it a new look and more protection, provided you use the right paint. The exact amount of work you need to do depends on how much damage the boat has taken over time.

Instructions

1. Wash the entire hull with a rag and acetone. Rinse the boat off thoroughly.

2. Sand down the hull, especially any parts where there are scratches and/or gouges. Sandpaper works for most of the hull, but an orbital sander is best for damaged areas. Clear the sand dust with a fan or air gun (like a blow dryer).

3. Apply gelcoat resin to the hull of the boat; make sure you know the right type of resin for your boat . Use a roller brush for most of the hull and a foam brush on the edges/corners. Apply at least two coats.

4. Sand over the entire surface of the hull once the gelcoat dries.

5. Paint over the hull with a urethane marine finish and a paint gun. Wear a face mask and other protection while painting. Make sure you know all local ordinances regarding ventilation for this type of painting.

6. Wax the surface after the paint dries, using a towel to apply a wax that works with gelcoat.

Create Custommade Paintball Guns

Paintball gun with front grip.

Custom-made paintball guns can create a unique look to the gun as well as optimize the gun's performance. Custom paintball guns can be done on a budget, or they can worked on expensively, depending on the types of parts added. Customizing a paintball gun can include changing the gun's appearance or adding performance upgrades such as barrels, stocks, triggers and other components.

Instructions

1. Unscrew the stock barrel that came with the paintball gun by twisting the barrel counterclockwise until it is off.

2. Screw on the new barrel by twisting it clockwise until it is firmly in place. Custom barrels should be generally longer in length to provide better accuracy. These barrels come in assorted colors and in lengths of 8, 10, 12 and 14 inches long.

3. Remove the rear clips of the gun, if applicable. Press the pins out from the rear side of the gun, where the spring is held in place, using your thumb. Remove the rear spring case, which is a small plastic or metal piece that keeps the spring in place.

4. Place the expendable stock in the same location where the rear spring case was. The stock is designed to hold the spring in place, while offering extra shoulder support with the use of the expendable stock. Push the pins back in place, using your thumb.

5. Remove the screws holding the trigger guard in place with the Phillips-head screwdriver. Take out any other screws or pins holding in the original trigger.

6. Remove the original trigger from the gun.

7. Place the upgraded double trigger in place of the stock trigger. Screw in the screws or push in the pins that hold the trigger in place. Screw the trigger guard back in place, if desired.

Airsoft Tactics & Strategies

Airsoft snipers strive to blend in with their surroundings.

Airsoft players employ a wide variety of tactics and strategies to overcome their opponents in the mock battles of the extreme sport. These maneuvers allow them to outwit their enemies and secure scenario objectives or eliminate enemies while protecting their own squad members. Understanding key techniques can lead to victory in a short airsoft battle or a protracted tournament-level war.

Roles

The type of gear employed by an airsoft player determines their role on the team. Assault troops use assault rifles and grenades. Shotgunners open doors and fire scattershot to disorient and eliminate close opponents. Snipers must hang back from the main group and pick off enemies at range. Heavy weapons units employ fully automatic airsoft cannons and medics can restore an eliminated player back to the match. Each player specializes in his role and must work within those parameters in order to best benefit the team.

Movement

Shotgunners lead assault troops into enclosed spaces. These troops, collectively referred to as an assault squad, flush out enemy positions and capture key locations or scenario objectives. Assault squads should move as a unit, leaving no one behind and covering their squadmates at all times. Snipers should crawl on their bellies and generally move as little as possible. They must remain on constant alert for exposed opponents and strive to never reveal their position. Heavy weapons units and medics may move as part of an assault squad or create their own support squad. Heavy weapons players may fire indiscriminately in the area of moving assault squads to create suppression and mask movement noise.

Stealth

Players who employ stealth tactics avoid enemy detection until they ready their weapons to fire. Truly stealthy players never give away their position unless eliminating a foe. Snipers and medics always strive for stealth, as sniper rifles and medic pistols are not designed for sustained combat. These players should stay close to the ground and remain vigilant for enemy targets. Assault troops and shotgunners must maintain a modicum of stealth by moving between bunkers quickly with as little noise as possible. Heavy weapons units should disregard stealth entirely; the noise of their cannons and constant barrage of plastic pellet fire is their best defense.

Summer Programs For Kids In Arizona

Camp Shane has horseback riding for kids.

Arizona's summer programs have a large range of activities that appeal to kids. The Raising Arizona Kids magazine says that summer camps help kids develop social skills and stay active. Many camps are co-ed and promote physical activities, but they also have activities like board games for kids. The best programs for kids depend on kids' interests, physical strengths and location.

Nike Baseball Camp

Kids who love baseball will enjoy the Nike Baseball Camp summer program. The camp is for kids ages ten to eighteen years old. Kids train at Embry--Riddle University and overnight campers stay in the dorms. No matter what the kids' skill levels are, kids get plenty of practice and guidance over the course of five days. Experienced coaches teach in classes of ten or less students. Kids are separated into different ability groups and learn about nutrition and college baseball. Both the overnight program and day program campers get a Nike shirt. All campers should bring proper equipment, including a bat and helmet.

Tune A Tippmann X7 Velocity

Tippmann recommends setting your velocity to 300-feet per second or less.

Every time you use your Tippmann X7 paintball gun, it's recommended that you test and tune the velocity to make sure it's set to a safe level. Having the velocity set too high can cause serious injury and other unsavory problems such as paintballs bursting inside the barrel of your gun. Likewise, a velocity setting that is too low may cause the paintballs to bounce off their target, as opposed to breaking upon impact. Fine-tuning the velocity of your Tippmann X7 only takes a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Switch on your Tippmann X7's safety.

2. Cock the marker back until it locks into place and screw a full air supply cylinder into your gun's air supply adapter, turning the tank until it won't turn anymore.

3. Load two or three paintballs into the Tippmann X7's paintball hopper, switch off the safety and fire a few shots, measuring the velocity using a chronograph--a device used to measure the speed of a flying object.

4. Hold or lay your Tippmann X7 so the right side is facing you.

5. Turn the velocity adjustment screw located above the feeder manual advance lever using a 3/16-inch Allen wrench, turning the screw clockwise to lower the velocity and counterclockwise to increase it.

6. Continue tweaking the velocity as needed in accordance with the chronograph until you're satisfied with the results. Tippmann recommends setting your velocity to 300 feet per second.
